Kim Kardashian has responded to online criticism of her daughter North West’s recent style.
Twelve-year-old North, daughter of the 45-year-old celebrity, is becoming well-known for her bold and extravagant style.
Earlier this week, a young teenager posted a TikTok video with friends. They all had similar looks, including temporary tattoos, colored contact lenses, and a fake nose ring.
The girls all had similar braided hairstyles, and North West’s featured bright turquoise extensions that really stood out.
One commenter noted she was only 12 years old, while another said the video wasn’t appealing and expressed their disapproval.
Kim Kardashian, founder of SKIMS, dismissed the controversy in a comment on a Daily Mail Australia TikTok, calling it ‘unimportant’.
North West had large, star-shaped tattoos done under her right eye and religious verses under her left in a social media post that received a lot of criticism.
The young girl also sported bold false eyelashes, a sparkly blue nail polish, and a detailed henna design covering her hand.
She dressed casually in a loose-fitting black T-shirt, long shorts, and black and white Rick Owens sneakers, matching her style to her friends’.
North also wore natural-colored lipstick with brown liner, and noticeable black grillz on her teeth.
Kim Kardashian’s daughter, who, like her mother, is benefiting from her famous family, wore a lot of silver jewelry, including several necklaces and chokers.
The TikTok was captioned, ‘fake piercings and fake tatts 4 life.’

North West is once again sparking fashion discussions, following recent criticism aimed at her mother for allowing her to wear a corset earlier this summer.

Talking about her oldest child, she explained that her daughter usually prefers comfortable, casual clothes, but recently wanted to try a new style that her friends were wearing. She had to gently explain that the outfit might not be appropriate.
The billionaire went on to say that becoming a mother is a learning process. She added that her daughter is a very good and sweet child.
She learns from her experiences, especially when she’s been direct or taken action.
She does hear what I say, but I’m very supportive of her expressing herself in other ways. If she wants to dye her hair blue, that’s fine with me – it brings her so much joy, and I’d never want to stifle her creativity.
