Killing of Karrion and WWE’s Four Ways to End Final Testament

Killing of Karrion and WWE's Four Ways to End Final Testament

I’ve been a wrestling fan for as long as I can remember, and I’ve seen my fair share of promising groups that never quite lived up to their potential. The Final Testament, consisting of Karrion Kross, AOP, and Scarlett, is one such group that left me feeling disappointed.

Karrion Kross and Final Testament are currently facing tough times. Sadly, their performances aren’t drawing crowds or streams. Instead of pouring more resources into a struggling storyline, it might be wise to explore four alternative endings for Final Testament. These endings could potentially generate buzz around another act. However, this isn’t a definitive loss for everyone involved – there is still an opportunity to regain some momentum for a few members.

The Wyatt Sicks eradicate Final Testament

Bo Dallas and Wyatt Sicks have stood out on Raw with their compelling performances since they came back. Their emotional intensity seems genuine, possibly because much of it is. A significant factor in their early success was a debut marked by extreme violence and intensity that left an indelible impression on fans as a memorable and shocking moment in WWE. Wyatt Sicks seemingly murdered Chad Gable, even though they didn’t. However, the new Wyatts now focus more on being eerie than violent. WWE should consider altering this trend, and Karrion Kross could be instrumental in doing so.

WWE could eliminate the Final Testament storyline by having the Wyatt Swat Team eliminate its members. According to rumors, they treated Chad Gable in a similar manner as some unfortunate WWE production staff. This drastic move may lead to tough discussions about the future of this storyline within the company. Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that. The Wyatt Family’s presentation would lose any semblance of camp if they were written off in such a violent manner. Instead, WWE could introduce new talent by removing these cold characters and reminding fans of the dangerous edge of their newest act.

Karrion Kross can get serious, again

The most disappointing outcome for Final Testament’s conclusion is also the most probable one. With Karrion being the standout member, it seems inevitable that he will depart, disbanding the group. Following numerous setbacks, he may choose to separate himself from his faction’s shortcomings and rebuild a solo career. However predictable this scenario may be, it echoes wrestling narratives of yesteryears. Moreover, previous attempts to implement this storyline have not yielded successful results. Instead, WWE could introduce an unexpected twist: Karrion’s departure and the dissolution of his creation can act as a fresh start for the audience’s perception of him as the top star. The reinvention of Kross may lead him down an entirely new path.

Kross has long been known for his ominous and otherworldly demeanor. His character has occasionally shifted towards less supernatural elements, but the fundamental dark aura remains. Whether it’s rooted more in wrestling traditions or natural superstition, Kross is often viewed as a mysterious and eerie figure in the ring. A significant transformation could lead Kross away from his ominous past and into a new role. WWE currently lacks a “shoot fighter” character, and with Kross’s imposing presence, he could fit this niche perfectly if he develops a suitable move set. This change would not only revitalize his creative direction but also create opportunities for fresh feuds, potentially helping Kross finally gain traction in WWE.

Final Testament ends up in exile at TNA in a talent exchange

Karrion Kross gained recognition in TNA before joining NXT. With no prospects in WWE, an extended comeback to TNA is a possibility. Jordynn Grace and Joe Hendry had successful runs on NXT. Both have been significant additions, with Hendry still contending for main events. The partnership between the two shows took everyone by surprise. Online discussions have arisen: what does TNA gain from this? So far, the answer is nothing. Wes Lee has made appearances on Impact alongside former friends. TNA secured a few good matches with emerging talents. NXT now boasts two potential stars, possibly future world champions. Impact could benefit from WWE sending a major star for more than a passing visit.

AJ Styles is likely to retire from TNA in the future. However, before that happens, Kross seems like a suitable replacement. His faction could generate intriguing narratives with TNA’s roster, as they wouldn’t be hindered by the numerous similar factions presently in WWE. During his tenure with Impact, Kross clashed with some of their leading figures. The abrupt conclusion of his run makes his desire for revenge more compelling there. Additionally, the NXTNA stars garnered significant popularity among fans when they debuted, leading one to ponder if a stint in Impact could have a similar impact on Kross.

The AOP set Karrion Kross free of his command

At times, life hands you lemons; making lemonade out of it becomes necessary. The Final Testament was expected to boost the reputations of Kross, AOP’s second-in-command for Akam and Rezar, and Scarlett. However, it seems not to be living up to expectations. Perhaps, though, Scarlett utilizes her connections within AOP to assert control over her situation. As a result, AOP forcibly replaces Kross in the TV scene to start anew with Scarlett. Her muscle quickly rises to the top of the tag team division, and Scarlett enters the Women’s scene as a newcomer with momentum. The trio might even step into the void left by Judgment Day during their Days of Our Lives phase.

While it’s true that Paul Ellering could stand in for Scarlett, this would only bring us back to square one. Instead, consider having AOP and Scarlett write Kross off TV temporarily or even permanently. This shift may seem insignificant, but it’s crucial for the Final Testament storyline to impact the characters. The reason behind Kross’ anticipated return is that he has transformed since his provocative leather days in the ring. The disbanding of the group served as a catalyst for change. Ultimately, such alterations are necessary to breathe new life into this situation.

Creativity and violence are the best ideas in four ways to end Final Testament

As a gamer, I can’t help but feel frustrated when it comes to Karrion Kross and The Undisputed Era in WWE. It’s not that they don’t deserve a place on the roster; they absolutely do. Each member of this group is incredibly talented and has the makings of a true superstar. But the puzzling thing is, their lack of consistent success leaves me scratching my head.

With all the current wealth in wrestling and impressive creativity on RAW and NXT, it would be a pity not to capitalize on that. Kross may not become the leader of a terrifying heel supergroup, but that’s not necessary. It’s possible that Kross won’t reach the pinnacle as a world champion, and that’s acceptable too. The notion that none of these four superstars have potential to thrive at the top of their divisions is hard to imagine. Investing time in them to make it worthwhile for everyone involved, including fans, is crucial.
