Kiefer Sutherland Orders Massive Greggs Delivery for Hollywood Set in Leeds

Despite having starred in numerous Hollywood films, Kiefer Sutherland is now tackling the most substantial role of his career.

In an effort to energize the cast and crew during the shooting of his movie “Tinsel Town,” the actor ordered a substantial quantity of treats from Greggs, such as sausage rolls, steak bakes, and yum yums.

On Tuesday, during filming in Leeds, Mr. Sutherland, aged 58, posted a video to Instagram showing their recent order from the well-known bakery company.

He mentioned that it was his most enjoyable day on set so far, largely due to the arrival of a food truck from Greggs, providing snacks for both cast and team members.

While clutching a Steak Bake, the actor from Designated Survivor told the camera: ‘The next fortnight marks the end of filming in Tinsel Town, right here in Leeds. A Greggs food truck was even on set today – best day yet!’

This upcoming Sky Christmas movie, slated for broadcast in December, boasts an illustrious lineup of actors: Rebel Wilson, Lucien Laviscount, Jason Manford, and Danny Dyer.

Over the last few weeks, they’ve gained quite a buzz in the charming market town of Knaresborough, with people often catching sight of them while they film.

Greggs provided a respite from filming for the Hollywood celebrities and team during their stay in Leeds. A special message, ‘To the cast and crew of Tinseltown, thank you for your dedication! From Kiefer & Rebel,’ was displayed on the van.

In one social media video, Mr Manford, 43, was seen educating Ms Wilson on the famous baking chain.

He mentioned that it’s a local specialty,” he said, following our order of a sausage, bean, and cheese melt along with some Yum Yum on the side.

As a devoted admirer, I’ll share with you an intriguing tidbit I picked up from my time up north. A Yum Yum, it seems, is not just any ordinary donut, but rather a lengthy one, generously coated with sweetness.

It’s not the first time Sutherland has expressed his love of the pastry goods.

A bandmate of this occasional singer introduced him to a popular fast-food item from a high street chain, and he believes that the grease from it might shield his vocal chords.

He mentioned last year that ‘Grease’ isn’t a great term, but there’s plenty of it in a Greggs sausage roll to smooth your throat effectively, and quite pleasantly.

‘I’ve found it helpful on more than one occasion. We go there so much.’

For the past couple of weeks, Rebel and Kiefer have been in the United Kingdom shooting a Christmas movie titled “Tinsel Town.” This production is jointly handled by Sky and Future Artists Entertainment, and it’s scheduled for release on Sky Cinema.

In December 2025, the lead from “How To Be Single” is set to appear in a movie release for the holiday season. This film finds her as a choreographer for a small-town theater group in northern England, where she becomes entangled with a fresh face portrayed by Kiefer.

The movie’s plot, as disclosed by the producers, revolves around a make-believe action celebrity named Bradley Mack, portrayed by Kiefer. His acting career seems to be waning following his dismissal from his signature film series.

As a passionate thespian aiming to reestablish my reputation on the grand stages of London’s West End, I embark on a journey across the sea to England. However, fate has a different script for me; instead, I find myself cast as the lead in Cinderella by a small theater company nestled deep within a secluded northern village.

In the course of continued rehearsals, Mack forges a bond with Jill (Wilson), who ignites in him the motivation to overcome the setbacks of his past.

‘I love British Christmas movies,’ Wilson said in a statement.

She added: “Since in Australia, we’re simply enjoying a barbecue at the beach – it feels like I’m experiencing a traditional British Christmas, with cold fingers and nose but filled with joy and sliding down hills!

Chris Foggin, the director behind the hit 2023 Netflix comedy-drama “Bank of Dave”, is at the helm of this upcoming movie.

In the United Kingdom, people can watch the movie through Sky Cinema, which is a subscription service offered by Sky. As for its release in Australia, that information has not been disclosed yet.
