In the latest episode of The Kardashians, Khloe Kardashian playfully suggested that O.J. Simpson was her father while speaking to her mom, Kris Jenner, referencing old rumors about an affair.
The TV personality mentioned past accusations when her sister, Kim, gave her their father’s Bible. This Bible had originally been given to O.J. by an attorney in 1994, shortly after his arrest.
Kim Kardashian, the founder of SKIMS, shared that she was the one who secretly bought the Bible for $80,000. She then surprised her sister, Khloe, with it as a gift during their Easter celebration in Palm Springs.
Khloe was upset that her brother had to make several bids at the auction, exclaiming, “Why wouldn’t he just give it to us? It’s already been established that he’s our father, so we deserve it.”
Kim said it was unclear whether O.J. Simpson or her father was her dad, and Khloe jokingly agreed that either man could be her biological father.
The mother of four, formerly married to Kanye West, said she and her family believe they should have the Bible back, as it was originally shared by their late father and O.J. Simpson.

Khloe then added, ‘Both of my dads – give it to me.’
Their mother, Kris, was present during the conversation, but she didn’t say anything.
In 2019, during an emotional moment on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the woman known for managing her children’s careers publicly denied rumors of a romantic relationship with O.J. Simpson.
Kris claimed a tabloid published a story alleging she had a relationship with O.J. Simpson, and then used a highly offensive term to describe him.
She also said she was disturbed that the rumors resurfaced on the 25th anniversary of Nicole Brown’s death.
In 1994, O.J. Simpson was accused of murdering Nicole Brown. However, after a highly publicized criminal trial – where Robert Kardashian served as his lawyer – he was found not guilty in 1995.
Honestly, it just breaks my heart every time. It’s awful that the media latches onto these ridiculous rumors, especially around the anniversary of Nicole’s death. It feels so incredibly disrespectful and just…gross. Like, can’t they just leave her memory alone?
Visibly upset, Kris explained, ‘After 25 years, you’d expect it to be over. It’s been nothing but constant lies, and there’s a limit to what anyone can endure.’

O.J. had also denied the cheating allegations in a video shared to Twitter (now X) in 2019.
He explained that Robert had been ‘a brother’ to him and was also ‘a great guy.’
He met and married Kris, and they enjoyed a wonderful relationship for a time. Sadly, it didn’t last.
O.J. strongly denied ever having romantic or sexual feelings for Kris. He said he never sensed any attraction from her either, and dismissed the stories about them as false and in poor taste.
You might remember a lot of media coverage years ago about a high-profile murder trial where he was found not guilty. However, in 2008, he faced different charges – armed robbery and kidnapping – and was convicted, leading to a prison sentence. Thankfully, he was released in 2021, and it was a complete release – no parole officer checking in, just a fresh start.
O.J. passed away at the age of 76 last year in April 2024 following a battle with prostate cancer.
In the most recent episode of The Kardashians, Kylie Jenner participated in the Easter celebrations and curiously inquired about the Bible, wondering if the notes within were written by Robert Kardashian himself.
Khloe playfully responded, ‘No, that belongs to my other father, O.J.,’ and Kylie replied, ‘Oh, that’s creepy. My bad.’

Okay, so in the last episode, you will NOT believe this, Kim was trying SO hard to get that Bible – the one that belonged to O.J.! But it wasn’t at a regular sale, it was part of this whole estate auction thing handled by whoever was in charge of his stuff, and she kept missing out! It was so stressful to watch, she really wanted that Bible!
In the end, Kim had the upper hand. The billionaire easily covered the final sale price, which was more than five times her original $15,000 offer, and still significantly higher than the $30,000 she’d initially been prepared to spend.
As a longtime follower of the case, it really bothered me when O.J.’s lawyer went after Kim months after the episode was filmed. He criticized her for not passing the bar, which felt totally unfair, especially since he didn’t even know she’d eventually been given the Bible after initially being told she wouldn’t get it. It just seemed like a low blow.
Kim revealed her surprising decision while giving a tour of her house – which was under renovation – to her seven-year-old daughter, Chicago.
She shared that her eight-year-old son, Saint, once wrote encouraging messages on the bare wooden beams of their house while it was being built. She wanted him – and her other children – to have a reminder of happy times when they looked back at the house later on, even though the messages would eventually be hidden behind walls.
And now it was Chicago’s turn to leave some uplifting sentiments around the house.
Kim joined her family in the kitchen and, while sitting at the breakfast table, she revealed a thick envelope. Inside, she had a plastic bag holding her father’s old Bible, a book with a worn brown leather cover.
Kim just got a Bible and was so excited she showed it to Chicago without even opening it first.

She announced to her daughter and the cameras, ‘Yes, I was the one who won the O.J. Simpson auction!’
Kim claimed that Malcom LaVergne, the person handling Simpson’s estate, was the one who shared her emails – emails where she discussed wanting to purchase the Bible directly, instead of through the auction.
Kim was looking through the book when she unexpectedly found out where the Bible originally came from.
She thought her father had bought the Bible and given it to Simpson, writing a message inside for the man accused of murder, who also played professional football.
When Kim finally held the Bible, she recognized it as her father’s. His name was written in gold letters on the cover.
After Malcolm refused to sell her the family heirloom, she was determined to get it, so she decided to bid on it secretly.
As she began reading the Bible, she had another surprising discovery.

She noticed handwriting on the text that didn’t match her father’s, so she figured it must be from O.J.
Oh my gosh, when Kim said that about him… it just broke my heart! She was talking to Chicago, her little baby, and she said, with the sweetest little smile, ‘He went to jail. It’s a long story, I’ll tell you when you’re older.’ Like, can you even imagine? She’s protecting her daughter, but still… it’s just so sad and complicated. I need to know the whole story! It’s killing me!
The businesswoman explained she wanted to gift a Bible to her sister, Khloé, because Khloé was the one who originally told her about the auction.
Inspired by a Bible verse reveal, Chicago wrote ‘I love you Jesus’ on a wooden beam before she and the other person departed.
