Khloe Kardashian Bans Sleepovers? Here’s Why

Khloe Kardashian won’t let her daughter True, age seven, do sleepovers.

And most parents can probably relate to her reason why.

The well-known 40-year-old actress admitted that she’s overly cautious about letting her sole daughter stay overnight elsewhere, as she’s been watching far too many real-life crime dramas.

In a recent installment of her “Khloé in Wonder Land” podcast, the designer from Good American had a conversation with UFC’s CEO, Dana White who is 55 years old.

In the given episode, Kardashian, who is a mother to two-year-old Tatum as well, expressed that she maintains a firm rule regarding sleep, stating, “I never allow my children to sleep in places other than their beds. I am quite strict about this matter.

Given the current times, I prefer not to allow my 2.5-year-old child to have sleepovers at other homes. It’s mainly because I tend to overthink things and have seen too many crime stories on shows like Dateline.

Overnights at friends’ homes can be advantageous for elementary school kids, as they foster independence, social interaction, and flexibility.

They provide chances for kids to explore various settings, engage with classmates beyond the classroom, and develop skills to handle novel circumstances.

And she is already terrified of the day her kids move out.

She confided that she wasn’t sure how she would feel about becoming an empty nester, admitting she might get a drastic haircut, lose her mind a bit, or perhaps even acquire many pets.

And she hopes that when they do move out it’s only next door. 

She mentioned that it appears to her as if she’s subtly teaching her children that living close to their mother in their later years is a common and expected thing, so when they grow older, they might simply view it as the norm.

The designer, who’s been keeping track for the past five years, eventually understands that her children might prefer spending time with friends rather than with her in the future.

She expressed, “At some point, my children might prefer spending time with their friends instead of me. However, while I currently have the chance and the honor to share a meal with them each evening, I’ll definitely make the most of it.

15 years from now, my children likely won’t say, “I wish you worked more; I remember when you stayed late at work.” Instead, they will probably ask, “Why weren’t you there?” This suggests that they might appreciate more family time in the future.

This comes after True celebrated her seventh birthday over the weekend.

On Saturday, the mother of two celebrated her oldest child’s birthday with a grand, Rainbow Friends-themed party at the arcade, wishing her a joyous day.

The well-known reality television personality shared a behind-the-scenes peek into how they celebrated True’s birthday, which was filled with numerous relatives and companions at an opulent gathering. The party decor was themed around the popular online game, Roblox.

Initially, I decided to share on Instagram the delightful start of True’s special day – a birthday brunch followed by us getting matching manicures to resemble our twin spirits, my dear mom and I.

Subsequently, the beaming mother arrived with True and her two-year-old child, Tatum (who are jointly her offspring with her former NBA partner, Tristan Thompson, aged 34), at the extravagant celebration.

At the party, two of True’s cousins, Chicago West (daughter of Kim Kardashian) and Dream Kardashian (daughter of Rob Kardashian Jr.), were in attendance as well.

Instead, consider this rephrased version: Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner accompanied Kylie to the desert, where they brought along their children, Stormi and Aire, for a special occasion – Travis Scott’s performance at Coachella.

true’s birthday party featured a DIY slime-making station, numerous arcade games, a bouncy trampoline area, and lively tunes to ensure everyone had a great time.

Additionally, Khloe captured the birthday girl grooving with her cousins, Chicago and Dream, on a dance floor lit up by LED lights, complete with their personal DJ.

Not only did True demonstrate synchronized actions, but she invited her cousins to join her in a musical act and stage show for her mother as well.

In a single video, Khloe displayed an abundant, vibrantly decorated dessert table filled with numerous birthday cakes and sweet treats for the celebrant.

She too captured an image of what seemed like True’s lavish birthday present – a necklace studded with diamonds, bearing her name, along with a Louis Vuitton handbag adorned with her initials.
