Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner let loose on ‘hookups’ at their annual Christmas party

Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner chatted about their family’s yearly Christmas Eve party.

The Kardashian-Jenners take turns hosting their annual party, and this year, Khloé’s 30-year-old half-sister hosted at her home.

Over the years, the event has attracted many famous faces, such as Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez, Paris Hilton, Elon Musk, Dave Chappelle, John Legend, Tyler the Creator, and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, before recent controversies.

Khloe, 41, recently chatted with her mother, Kris Jenner, 70, about their annual holiday traditions, which Kris started back in 1978. They shared a behind-the-scenes look at how they celebrate the holidays.

During a chat, Khloe casually asked if anyone had ever had a romantic encounter at one of their parties. When Kris replied that she didn’t know, Khloe seemed skeptical, and she discussed it later on her podcast, Khloe in Wonderland.

Kris asked, seemingly shocked, ‘Are you saying you slept with him? In the bathroom?’ She’s been with her current boyfriend, Corey Gamble, who is 45, since 2014.

Khloe playfully questioned whether someone had engaged in sexual activity or performed oral sex, hinting at secretive encounters. She referenced her own past relationship with basketball player Tristan Thompson, which ended in 2021, implying a familiarity with infidelity.

Kris then flipped the question back to Khloe, asking if the same thing had happened to her. Khloe, who was also once married to Lamar Odom, responded that she didn’t believe it had.

Khloe said she always aims to be playfully tipsy on Christmas Eve, and usually succeeds. However, she hasn’t managed to achieve that in the last few years, which she’s disappointed about. Despite that, she’s had many fun and memorable Christmases.

The yearly party started during Kris Jenner’s time as a housewife in Beverly Hills, when she was married to Robert Kardashian – the father of her four oldest children and a future lawyer for O.J. Simpson.

Kris hosted a big annual party every year. As her children got older and made more friends, the party grew to include around 200 to 300 guests. Eventually, the party moved between different family members’ homes to accommodate everyone.

Kris started to say she enjoyed it much more before, but Khloe interrupted her, taking over the conversation.

Khloe told her mother she didn’t want to be in charge and preferred to avoid having a lot of guests at her house. She also expressed how much she appreciated her mother taking care of things this year.

Several Kardashian-Jenner properties weren’t available, so Khloe’s home was initially proposed. However, Kris quickly suggested using Kendall’s place instead.

It wasn’t clear if Khloe and Kris were talking about the recent Christmas party, seemingly held at Kendall’s home, or one planned for next week. They live next door to each other.

Kris shared how wonderful it is to watch her children develop their own traditions for Christmas Eve and to cherish spending time together as a family each year.

Khloe explained that the family will collaborate on the event’s overall style using a shared Pinterest board and by inviting everyone to participate in planning sessions with Mindy Weiss.

Jeff Weiss, 56, is an event planner well-known for his work with the Kardashians. He’s especially famous for creating Kylie Jenner’s elaborate StormiWorld birthday parties for her seven-year-old daughter, Stormi, who she shares with Travis Scott.

Khloe explained that participation matters. If someone misses a meeting, they won’t have a voice in the decisions made. She clarified that they can’t object to choices made in earlier meetings – specifically decisions X, Y, and Z – if they weren’t present to contribute. Basically, show up or accept the decisions made by those who did.

Khloe playfully accused her mom, Kris, of loving self-promotion. Kris countered that she just enjoys giving out party favors, but Khloe insisted Kris definitely loves a good plug – a mention or promotion of something.
