Khanh Ong’s Jaw-Dropping Transformation

MasterChef Australia’s Khanh Ong has flaunted his mega makeover on the cover of Men’s Health.

31-year-old renowned chef shared his weight loss secrets and favorite unconventional workout in a chat with a fitness magazine on Tuesday.

When queried by the publication about his feelings on becoming the most recent model featured in their magazine, he expressed shock.

He expressed that the physiques of the men often featured on the covers didn’t appear achievable to him, not only due to their massive size, but also because they didn’t resemble him in appearance.

As a youngster, Khanh didn’t show much interest in fitness, but a shift in mindset transformed his outlook on overall health and well-being.

He stated that it’s less about the amount one can lift on a bench press or sheer physical stature, and more about achieving balance in life. Additionally, he emphasized that fitness is not just an appearance, but rather a sense of well-being.

He attributed his transformation to three factors: consuming nutritious yet flavorful meals, working with an active coach, and, unexpectedly, practicing Pilates.

He shared with Australian Men’s Health that back then, it was commonly believed that Pilates was exclusively for women. But, he finds that idea absurd, as it offers numerous benefits to people of all genders.

In his path to success, the dedicated health enthusiast mixed strength training with Pilates as key ingredients. He found that Pilates specifically focused on building his core, a benefit that allowed him to handle heavier weights.

Regarding eating healthily, a concept sometimes perceived as dull or uninteresting in the culinary world, Khanh aims to change people’s perspectives by sharing his tasty yet nutritious recipe ideas on Instagram.

He prepares a variety of scrumptious, restaurant-caliber dishes, ranging from tantalizing noodle salads to deceptive cheats chicken rice, all in line with the macronutrients recommended by his trainer and his innate culinary creativity.

This isn’t the first time Khanh has gotten candid about his appearance.

In May last year, the cook revealed the many cosmetic procedures he has had done on social media.

During an open conversation on his Instagram Stories, the celebrity from I’m A Celebrity was inquired, “What kind of therapies or procedures do you undergo?” while seated in a cosmetician’s chair.

He mentioned that he noticed wrinkles forming near his crow’s feet, underneath his nose, as well as for the first time in those areas between his eyebrows.

‘I get filler in my jaw (which I love every time I get it done).

We’ve recently begun injecting a substance called filler along the edges of my nose, extending down into the cheek area. This is based on the advice from cosmetic nurse Alex Pike, who noted that the area was beginning to lose volume or sag.

Khanh was also asked if there was a procedure he had done that he didn’t like.

The celebrity chef from MasterChef Australia mentioned that although there’s nothing he truly dislikes, on one occasion he had lip injections, yet found them to be unnecessary.
