Kevin Spacey smiles as he arrives in NYC nearly two years after his sexual assault trial acquittal

Kevin Spacey was spotted at JFK International Airport after landing in New York City on Tuesday.

With a broad grin on his face, the 65-year-old actor effortlessly maneuvered a cart overflowing with his luggage, having retrieved his possessions from the baggage area.

For his day of travel, he layered a bright orange shirt with an olive green, zip-up jacket.

As a devoted fan, I slipped into a pair of sleek black joggers one day, complementing my look with a stylish pair of tortoiseshell, Wayfarer-esque glasses and a dapper fedora.

He had three pieces of checked luggage and a carry-on suitcase, which he was rolling, as he made his way outdoors to meet his transportation.

Three months have passed since it became known that he resumed filming on an unspecified project in Phoenix, marking his return to work in this city for the first time since his acquittal in the sexual assault trial held in the UK more than a year ago.

The actor, known for stirring debate, seemed quite lively upon resuming filming and when his psychological thriller was released towards the end of last year.

In November, the independent Italian thriller titled “The Contract,” featuring Spacey in the role of ‘The Devil,’ made its debut at the Cairo International Film Festival.

Approximately a year and a half past, the London court ruled that he was innocent on all nine counts of sexual assault allegations made against him.

For over a decade while serving as the artistic director of the Old Vic theatre, he encountered allegations from four different individuals.

Out of nine, Spacey was charged with seven counts of sexual assault.

He faced charges for two offenses: forcing an individual into non-consensual sexual activities, and coercing an individual into penetrative sexual acts without their consent.

Starting in the year 2017, a string of shocking accusations surfaced against him, which initiated his downfall from public favor. Over 30 men claimed that Spacey had committed sexual assault or engaged in inappropriate conduct.

Twice Academy Award-winning actor, who was previously adored by many, refutes all accusations, arguing they are baseless and accuses the accusers of fabricating stories for financial gain.

A few months prior to his visit to New York City, he announced on platform X (originally Twitter) that he was back to filming in Phoenix.

In October, he shared a picture of himself wearing clothing inspired by the West, sitting on a horse, with the caption: “Slightly bruised but proud to be riding again. Currently in Phoenix.

He also tagged Piers Morgan in his tweet just shortly after he appeared on his show. 

In a previous episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored, he emotionally disclosed that he was close to financial ruin and faced the tough decision of selling his house because of excessive legal costs.

Additionally, he disclosed that his Baltimore residence was being auctioned off. Eventually, it got purchased at a reduced price during the foreclosure auction.

Kevin clarified that he has a significant debt amounting to millions, and further added, “In essence, you can understand the magnitude of my legal expenses. I’m still struggling to settle those unpaid legal bills.

In a post on social media last October, he expressed gratitude a year after being acquitted of sexually assaulting four men, during a well-known trial where Sir Elton John testified on his behalf.

He felt deeply emotional when the jury at London’s Southwark Crown Court declared him not guilty on all charges.
