Kevin Owens's turn after WWE Bad Blood was handled perfectly

As a lifelong WWE fan who’s seen more than a few twists and turns over the years, I must admit that the Kevin Owens-Cody Rhodes saga has me hooked! The way they pulled off that surprise attack at Bad Blood was pure genius – it felt like we were part of the action, not just passive viewers.

As a hardcore WWE fan, I’ve got to say the Bad Blood event was an emotional rollercoaster! The opening and closing matches were jaw-dropping, but the middle part left me scratching my head a bit. However, when the cameras stopped rolling, Kevin Owens took Cody Rhodes by surprise with an unexpected attack! It was a spontaneous moment, not typically seen in WWE’s polished productions, but it was fueled by the raw energy of the fans who quickly shared the news. And boy, did it work! This unplanned event adds another layer to the ever-evolving world of WWE storytelling.

It was only a question of when, as everyone could see, that Owens would eventually betray Rhodes. To many, it was a predicament Rhodes had created himself. Initially, he worked alongside Owens and Randy Orton, but then found himself at odds with the Bloodline for months on end. A struggle that Owens has been deeply involved in for quite some time. It’s surprising, then, to witness Rhodes aligning himself with Owens’s sworn enemy: Roman Reigns.

Kevin Owens’s current character development bears a striking resemblance to Drew McIntyre’s transformation into one of Monday Night Raw’s top villains. McIntyre’s gradual shift has been marked by numerous moments where viewers can understand his motivations. In essence, both Owens and McIntyre have endured a significant portion of the last few years at the hands of The Bloodline, making their hostility towards this faction understandable. It seems logical that they would seek retribution for the wrongs inflicted upon them. However, McIntyre has crossed the line, and it appears that Owens may follow suit as time goes on.

Watching it behind-the-scenes added more depth to the moment, making it even more powerful. WWE’s innovative approach to staging their shows as a sports spectacle has been highly praised thus far. Deviating from traditional methods allows for fresh possibilities in an industry that had grown stale with repetition for too long.

Following WWE Bad Blood, Kevin Owens’s switch against Cody Rhodes was masterfully executed and leaves us eagerly anticipating how the plot unfolds in the latest episode of WWE SmackDown. With The Rock making his comeback, who is equally focused on Rhodes, the intrigue intensifies. And let’s not forget about Randy Orton, who’s simmering with frustration over Rhodes’ actions. This level of storytelling in professional wrestling truly showcases its finest moments.
