Kevin Feige Reveals MCU’s Anchor Being in Old Interview
Kevin Feige, leader of Marvel Studios, subtly revealed last year who the foundation character of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is, and it’s hardly unexpected. User @hermandy_s shared an interview where Feige was publicizing the summer blockbuster from last year, [movie title], and the studio head explicitly mentioned that Iron Man serves as the foundation character for the MCU, the character that anchors their reality.
In a recent interview, Marvel Cinematic Universe chief Kevin Feige acknowledged that Iron Man, who has been played by Robert Downey Jr. since 2008’s “Iron Man,” is the cornerstone character for the MCU. Speaking about this in an interview posted on X, Feige stated, “After the release of ‘Logan,’ a fantastic film, we were busy working on ‘Infinity War‘ and ‘Endgame.’ I was striving to bring our main character’s journey to a satisfying conclusion with ‘Logan’ serving as an inspiration for us.” The 2017 film “Logan” marked the end of Wolverine (portrayed by Hugh Jackman) and Professor X (played by Patrick Stewart).
