Kerry Katona Reveals She Hasn’t Spoken to Liz McClarnon in Years After Pregnancy Announcement

Kerry Katona confesses that it has been years since she last conversed with her ex-bandmate Liz McClarnon from Atomic Kitten, while expressing her belief that Liz will excel as a mother.

She shared that she’s finally expecting her first little bundle of joy! After battling for two decades, the journey to conception has been a challenge, but the wait is now over. I can hardly contain my excitement for this wonderful new chapter in Liz’s life!

Kerry maintains that there’s no ill feeling on her part, and she’s even sent her former bandmate well wishes during her pregnancy and as a new mother.

In her latest article, she enthusiastically expressed her heartfelt congratulations to her ex-bandmate from Atomic Kitten, Liz McClarnon, as she announced her pregnancy at the age of 44.

For many years now, I haven’t had a conversation with her, but I hold absolutely no resentment towards her. In fact, my feelings are filled only with affection, joy, and well-wishing for her. I truly believe she will make an exceptional mother. This is what she concluded by saying.

18-year-old Kerry, initially a part of Atomic Kitten, departed the group in 2001 following her pregnancy with her first child from husband Brian McFadden. Subsequently, she was substituted by Jenny Frost within the band.

2020 saw the reunion of Atomic Kitten after a gap of fifteen years, during which they created a unique rendition of their popular song “Whole Again” specifically for the Euros. However, one of the original members, Kerry, did not participate in this reunion recording.

At that point, Kerry spoke about the group’s reunion, letting one of her Instagram followers know that she had always remained part of the band and believed they were just taking a brief pause.

The popular figure hypothesized about why she wasn’t invited to their get-togethers, suggesting it might be because they didn’t care for her company.

Back then, I shared with OK! my fervent feelings: “I wasn’t invited to join the project – I can’t help but wonder why! It seems they might not appreciate me.

The ex-pop star mentioned that Natasha, Liz, and Jenny chose to continue without her, yet she expressed: “I hope they all fare well.

2023 saw Kerry appealing emotionally to former bandmates Liz and Natasha, asking if it was possible for them to end their long-standing disagreement, hoping that friendship could be rekindled between them once more.

In her latest magazine article, Kerry pens a heartfelt thought about life being brief, expressing deep regret for no longer maintaining contact with her former band members.

When such an event occurs, it serves as a reminder of the depth of my feelings towards the Atomic Kitten group members.

‘It’s really sad that we don’t talk. I’ve reached out to them so many times. Life is too short.’

18-year-old Kerry shared stories about the methods the band employed for resistance during their earlier days, prior to being succeeded by Jenny.

She went on to say, “I recall certain disputes we experienced within Atomic Kitten in the past. One time, Liz unexpectedly struck me following a minor disagreement. I was enraged and retaliated later on.

I had her change clothes in the restroom backstage during SMTV Live, followed by me stomping on her feet as we performed “Whole Again” together on stage.

It emerged that Liz had been battling infertility issues for twenty years before announcing her pregnancy with her first baby.

In a joyous Instagram update, the artist announced that she is now expecting a child, having successfully undergone years of fertility treatment that often brought challenges.

Back in June of 2023, I, a fervent admirer, had the immense joy of witnessing my beloved idol, Liz, unite with the extraordinary Peter Cho in holy matrimony. However, it wasn’t until we celebrated their first wedding anniversary that she gracefully chose to share this precious detail with her cherished followers like myself.

In the delightful video, it’s clear that Liz is seated on a park bench. As she swivels around, her growing belly comes into view.

In the video, she mentioned: “I’ve hidden something from you, and I’ve largely stayed away from social platforms as there were times when smiling wasn’t easy.

After many difficult years of IVF treatments that were often challenging, I am now pregnant! It feels as though we have been granted a precious gift, like being bestowed with the entire world.

Liz titled her post: “Initially, I planned to share a video where I spoke directly to you, but my feelings overpowered me, so I opted for a more subtle approach through this brief statement.

It’s hard for me to comprehend that we’ve made it. There are so many who’ve experienced what I did, often even more severe challenges. ❤️
