Kerri-Anne Kennerley, 71, shows off her youthful visage as she steps out for The Book of Mormon in Sydney

Kerri-Anne Kennerley was the picture of ageless beauty when she stepped out in Sydney this week.

On Thursday evening, the seasoned TV personality, aged 71, was present at the debut showing of The Book of Mormon at the Capitol Theatre.

On the red carpet, the cherished Good Morning Australia host beamed delightfully for the cameras.

Kerri-Anne sported an elegant, black coat adorned with intricate brass fastenings and metallic zippers on the sleeves.

Additionally, she accessorized with a sleek black pantsuit featuring wide-flared cuffs, which were quite voluminous and seemed ready to fully cover her stylish beige sandals, thereby finishing off her red carpet ensemble.

Kerri-Anne added a touch of elegance to her style by layering several large, silver and gold necklaces, which cascaded all the way to her midriff.

Additionally, she often showcased a fondness for luxury items, sporting a lavishly decorated Dolce & Gabbana Miss Sicily velvet handbag adorned with intricate detailing.

The main item, priced approximately at $4,400, showcases detailed flower and crown decorations.

Kerri-Anne wore her trademark blonde locks in a tapered bob that framed her face perfectly.

Describing her face, Kerri-Anne had a remarkably young appearance, an age that didn’t match her actual 71 years.

She wore a deep rose shade on her lip and a subtle blush to accentuate her enviable cheekbones.

The television icon added a smoky mascara and a manicured brow to complete her ageless look.

In early 2019, Kerri-Anne sadly experienced the loss of her cherished spouse, John, following a fall from a balcony in 2016 which caused partial paralysis from which he never recovered.

In an exclusive chat with Daily Mail Australia, I confess that I yearn for every aspect of my enduring affection’s presence.

She mentioned, “You understand, even the small and large aspects of life; every single day brings its own challenges, but over time, I find it just a little bit more manageable. However, this does not diminish the sense of solitude.

Kerri-Anne also recalled one of the ‘million’ memories she cherished when John was still alive.

As a lifestyle aficionado, I make it a point every Sunday morning to treat myself to a delightful breakfast tray laden with freshly squeezed orange juice and warm, toasty bread. A chilly slice or a bland egg just won’t do for me!

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’d describe it like this: “In the quietude of my sanctuary, I find myself immersed in the pages of the day’s news, sharing insights with companions about the intricacies of our world. It’s those serene moments that define the essence of home comfort.

In 1984, John tied the knot with the ex-host of Studio 10 at Sydney’s Opera House. Tragically, he fell off a balcony in March 2016, resulting in his becoming paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair.

Kerri-Anne spent most of her days looking after him until he died at the age of 78 on February 27, 2019.
