Kendrick & SZA UK TOUR Announced! Fans Are Losing It!

Kendrick Lamar and SZA have unveiled plans for a collaborative UK stadium tour following their impressive performance at the Super Bowl Half-Time Show in New Orleans last Sunday.

35-year-old artist Solána Imani Rowe, also known as Sza, collaborated with a 37-year-old rapper during the Halftime performance to perform their popular songs “Luther” and “All The Stars.

The Summer Run kicks off at Glasgow’s Hampden Park on July 8 and concludes at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on July 22.

Tickets for the event will be available through Ticketmaster.co.uk starting at 9am Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) on Valentine’s Day, Friday, February 14th. A separate pre-sale by Live Nation will happen a day earlier, on Thursday, February 13th, also at 9am GMT.

At the recent sports event over the weekend, Kendrick Lamar, who has been away from British grounds since 2022, served as the main attraction and invited the Saturn singer, aged 35, to perform their popular songs together. Meanwhile, SZA graced the stage at Glastonbury Festival last year as the headliner.

Over the years, this duo has frequently collaborated, such as on Doves in the Wind from 2017 and December’s 30 For 30 from SZA’s re-release of SOS (LANA). Additionally, they worked together on Kendrick’s latest LP GNX with Luther and Gloria.

However, it comes after viewers accused SZA of ‘lip-syncing’ during her Super Bowl performance.

Critics have commented that SZA’s lip-syncing was extremely noticeable on X, expressing their opinions through various posts, with some remarks saying something like: “Indeed, SZA lip-synced for the show ❤️”.

The original mix was poorly done. However, if you revisit it on Apple Music, they have corrected the mix. Unfortunately, Dot’s vocals were hard to understand as he seemed to be mumbling, and the microphone volume was set too low. Additionally, SZA’s performance appeared to be lip-synced.

Meanwhile, Kendrick continued to take a savage swipe at SZA’s ex-boyfriend Drake.

Despite having dated Drake in both 2009 and 2023, SZA opted to perform alongside his musical rival Kendrick instead.

In the 2020 song “Mr. Right Now,” where 21 Savage is also featured, Drake had referenced SZA in his verses earlier.
