Kendrick Lamar Could Be Involved in 2028 Los Angeles Olympics

The 2028 Los Angeles Olympics might include Kendrick Lamar’s participation, which is scheduled for three years from now.

Casey Wasserman, who manages a rapper and leads the Olympics’ planning committee, informed The Associated Press that Kendrick Lamar, originally from Compton, might take part in the 2028 games in some form. Since I represent Kendrick Lamar professionally, it seems likely that he will be included in the Los Angeles Olympics in some capacity, given his status as a significant cultural figure in LA.

He also mentioned that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) intends to assist in the recovery and renewal of the city of Los Angeles after the destructive wildfires. “We see the city’s rebirth, rebuilding, possibly a new vision for LA 2.0 – with the Olympics serving as a catalyst for these transformations – as being deeply connected to our values,” Wasserman said. “Given the massive scale of the natural disaster in such a large and influential city like Los Angeles, we believe it’s essential to incorporate this experience into our future vision.”

Wasserman expressed to the IOC that everyone finds a comeback story captivating. He added that they had been particularly fortunate from an Olympic standpoint because the venues and operational plans suffered minimal damage. However, he emphasized that this was not the primary focus. What truly matters is assisting people in returning to their homes, resuming their normal lives, and settling back into their routines.

The 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles are scheduled to occur from the 14th to the 30th of July, 2028. A grand total of 36 sports will be participating in this event.
