Kendall Jenner recently shared some thoughts about her sister Kylie, noting that Kylie had to mature rapidly after becoming a mother at a young age.
The model, age 30, recently starred in an Adidas ad and shared her thoughts in a new interview for Kylie’s Vanity Fair cover story, which came out on Wednesday.
Kylie Jenner was 19 when she found out she was expecting her first child, Stormi, who is now eight years old. She gave birth to Stormi shortly after turning 20. Four years later, she had her son, Aire, who is now four.
Jenner shared that she’s been really impressed with the young woman’s personal growth and how confidently she’s become herself.
She became a mother at a young age and had to mature quickly. But honestly, she seems more capable and self-assured now than ever before – she’s really come into her own.
The TV star also talked about how Kylie, age 28, figured out how to maintain her privacy while being famous, something she learned by observing her older siblings over time.
She expressed, ‘We learned how we wanted to take control of our private lives as much as we could.’
Kylie, who has two children with her former partner Travis Scott, has spoken before about having kids when she was young.
Last November, while talking about being a mother on her sister Khloe Kardashian’s podcast, the businesswoman confessed that it had been a very difficult time.
Having children so early in life was incredibly challenging, both emotionally and physically after the pregnancy,” Kylie shared.
However, the star revealed that she has since found a ‘good balance’ and still feels like herself.
The successful businesswoman also shared her thoughts on being the first of her friends to have a baby.
Kylie’s friend, Yris Palmer, also became a mother around the same time, though Yris was a few years older than her.
Oh my god, did you hear what Khy said about Yris? It’s everything! He kept saying ‘Yris, Yris’ – she’s clearly the one for him. Apparently, they got really close, like, really close. She’s a little older, and they even had kids together! He was so humble about it all, saying he thinks he did a pretty good job as a dad and that these things just take time. It’s just… perfect. I knew they had something special!
Kardashian applauded her younger sibling and expressed that she ‘did a great job.’
Kylie also shared how she could ‘relate to’ mom Kris Jenner after welcoming kids of her own.
Honestly, after learning more, I get why she did what she did, I really do. It’s completely flipped how I see my mom, and honestly, how we relate to each other now. It’s… everything’s different.
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Kris Jenner spoke enthusiastically about her youngest daughter, describing her as truly unique.
She said she always tells people this about her children, but Kylie truly stands out as one of the kindest and most giving young women she knows.

As I approached 30, I wanted to prioritize myself, my career, and my children,” the media personality shared with Vanity Fair. “I wanted to focus on my businesses, my work, and enjoying time traveling and simply being with my kids, and then see what happens next.
‘I do want to have more kids,’ she continued.
Kylie briefly mentioned her relationship with the actor, Marty Supreme, whom she started dating in 2023.
The couple has generally preferred to keep their relationship private, with the reality star occasionally joining Timothée Chalamet at events to show her support.
As awards season continues, the TV personality has been seen with the Oscar-nominated actor at events like the Golden Globes, which they both attended earlier this year.
However, she was absent from the 32nd Annual Actor Awards which took place nearly two weeks ago.
During his acceptance speech at the Critics Choice Awards in January, Timothée Chalamet publicly acknowledged Kylie.
He finished by thanking his partner of three years, saying, “Thank you for everything we’ve built together. I love you, and I wouldn’t have been able to do this without your support.” He said it with a lot of emotion.
When simply questioned by the outlet if it was ‘fun,’ the star replied with a blush, ‘Of course.’
Kylie has expressed wanting more children someday, and her sister Kendall recently shared her own thoughts on having kids.
Unlike her sisters—Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian—who all have children, she is the only one without any kids.
Last month, Jenner got candid about the topic during an interview with Vogue France.
At one point, she was asked if she has been thinking of having children now that she is in her 30s.
‘Yes, of course. I want to have them, but not right now,’ Jenner admitted to the outlet.
‘I want to make sure I can dedicate a lot of time to them, and for the moment, I’m still too busy.’
