Kelsey Parker shares new relationship two years after husband Tom’s death
As a gamer who has lived through countless virtual lives and relationships, I can truly empathize with Kelsey Parker‘s journey. Losing someone you love is like losing a character in a game – it leaves you feeling lost, confused, and longing for the days when everything was normal.
Kelsey Parker recently shared the news that she’s started a fresh romance, two years following the heartbreaking passing of her spouse, Tom.
In the post, the podcast host uploaded a picture of herself, dressed in a vibrant gown, wrapped in a friendly hug with a gentleman in a soft grey suit, both of them outdoors and beaming with joy. Contrary to expectations, she didn’t identify the man in question, instead using a heart symbol as her caption.
Many individuals expressed their appreciation in response to her post, commending her bravery for embracing joy with a new person following a heartbreaking event. This same idea was echoed by Tom’s bandmate from The Wanted, Jay McGuiness, who wrote: “Love is the key to everything.
Christine McGuinness from the TV show “The Real Housewives of Cheshire” also chimed in, using two heart emojis and a raised hands emoji.
In September 2020, I received the devastating news that I was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumor. Despite receiving treatment over the next two years, I sadly passed away in 2022. I was blessed to have two beautiful children, Aurelia and Bodhi, with my loving partner Kelsey.
Later that year, a documentary named Life After Tom aired on ITVBe.
In conversation about it, Kelsey shared her experiences with Tom, expressing: “Many people live their lives without experiencing true love, yet I’ve been fortunate enough to do so. I fell deeply in love. We were destined for each other. It’s possible I could have gone my entire life without meeting the one true love, but I did.
At the tender age of 19, I crossed paths with someone extraordinary. Far from your average pair, we found ourselves deeply, passionately enamored, our hearts swaying like leaves on the wind.
After his passing, Tom additionally shared a documentary on his life with a brain tumor, successfully fundraising for charity and embarking on one last tour with The Wanted.
