Kelsey Grammer Claims He Saw Heaven
Kelsey Grammer shared his personal account of a time when he felt he’d glimpsed heaven, stating that it was the most extraordinary encounter of his lifetime.
In his recently published memoir titled “Karen: A Brother Remembers,” Kelsey Grammer recounts and shares his personal experiences with the supernatural event that occurred in his life, focusing on the tragic circumstances surrounding his sister’s murder in 1975.
Grammar outlines the sequence of unfortunate events that have struck his family throughout his lifetime, leaving a trail of tragedy behind.
7 years prior to Karen’s murder, his father was fatally shot. This tragic event occurred in 1968, on the island of St. Thomas within the U.S. Virgin Islands. The culprit, a taxi driver, was declared not guilty due to insanity.
In 1980, it’s widely assumed that Grammer’s half-brothers, Billy and Stephen, lost their lives in an incident that resembled a shark attack while they were exploring the depths underwater in the Virgin Islands during scuba diving.
Billy’s body was never recovered, while Stephen’s was found washed ashore.
Yet, it was the gruesome murder and sexual assault of his sister Karen, who was almost 19, in Colorado at the hands of a serial killer and his two companions, that left the deepest mark on Gammer.
Following the crime, he descended into a grief-fueled spiral of drug and alcohol abuse.

However, the actor, who grew up in Florida and New Jersey, derived comfort from his beliefs in Christian Science, and he believed that medium readings confirmed that Karen was reaching out to him from the other side.
He thinks that the messages he received from Karen were what motivated him to write his memoir, and it was her impact that enabled him to recall deeply buried memories of their past shared life.
A memorable experience I had was when I was surfing on an exceptionally hot day in Palm Beach, Florida, at the age of 16 – a moment that felt incredibly magical.
He describes feeling deeply connected to the ocean’s waves, as one wave after another seemed to follow in quick succession. As soon as he finished riding one, he immediately started on the next.
Suddenly, there appeared an ideal wave. I swiftly positioned myself, plunged in immediately, and was enveloped as it crested over my head, surrounding me in a swirling vortex of tumbling sea water.
Looking upward, he claimed to have noticed sunlight filtering through a canopy of water overhead, and in that moment, he felt simultaneously unseen and eternal.
He penned down that he had nothing left to be afraid of, neither death nor anything else. That moment stood as the most profound experience in his lifetime.
He goes on to explain, “This is the radiance others refer to as ‘The Light.’ It’s a light within me. Maybe it was this light that guided me through all the shadows and hardships.
‘It was on a surfboard that I saw Heaven and realized I was safe no matter what, forever.’
He mentions: “Karen escorted me here. Karen understood my feelings. Karen is accompanying me. She’s always by my side, in every instant.
In the aftermath of his sister’s unexpected and brutal demise, Grammer sought guidance from numerous psychics, hoping to establish contact with her again.
He even produced the TV series ‘Medium’, which ran for five seasons.
In a single séance with a medium named Esther, he claims to have gained a strong message from Karen, urging him to move past his sorrow and instead recall the joyous times.

In the ‘regression’ session he had with Esther, she led him down a series of steps toward a cave.
‘At the entrance of the cave, she said I would meet two young people, and I did.
Two charming Asian kids, who I followed along, guided me towards the entrance of the cave.
Afterward, the kids transformed into Karen and Grammer, and Esther told him that his sibling had a gift for him.
As he pondered on this, an image of a surfboard popped into his mind, representing for him a clear connection to my comprehension of the divine and my bond with it.
He goes on to say: “However, all of a sudden, my surfboard transformed into a chocolate-hued slalom water ski! I couldn’t get enough of it.
Later on, we found ourselves reminiscing about a unique day spent skiing in the late afternoon with Karen, myself, and our local companion, Luanne.
As I recall my vision, I can still feel the warmth of the setting sun on my skin, while I gracefully skimmed over the water on my water-skis. Zigzagging across the boat’s wake, I would occasionally carve a 20-foot arc of water, catching the sunlight in its splendor.
He expresses that he hadn’t anticipated the visual aspect, yet the feeling and warmth on his back, along with the misty sensation on his body, were among the most remarkable encounters he has ever had.
It was only 50 years later, he says, that he was able to see the moment through Karen’s eyes.
‘She wanted me to see it,’ he writes.
Then Esther told him Karen had something else to tell him.
Karen asked me to keep in mind – this day, along with countless others, that were marked by the familiarity of love, and the awe-inspiring brilliance of Creation that left us in awe.
In 1975, I made a move to Colorado Springs, inspired by a semester in Georgia and the allure of being with my significant other. Regrettably, just after this transition, I found myself parting ways from this world.

Around 11 pm, she headed to her workplace, which was Red Lobster, to pass the time until her friend wrapped up their shift.
On that particular evening, Freddie Glenn along with his two associates had devised a plan to burglarize the restaurant. However, as they approached the back of the building, they spotted Karen standing outside.
Leaving behind our criminal act, we whisked Karen away to one of our hideouts, a place I now call my own. There, with unrelenting cruelty, we violated her, an act that still haunts me in my dreams.
Later, they took her to a secluded alley, where Glenn stabbed her 42 times.
Initially sentenced to death for killing Karen, Freddie Glenn’s punishment was later changed to a lifetime imprisonment instead.
Four times already, parole has been withheld from him. Back in 2014, Grammer expressed that he can forgive him, yet maintains the viewpoint that he should remain incarcerated permanently.
Michael Corbett died in prison in 2019, while the third accomplice was never found.
