Kelsey Grammer, 71, caught in rare sighting with much-younger wife as he makes her carry their takeout

Kelsey Grammer and his wife, Kayte Walsh, enjoyed a date night at their go-to restaurant, E Baldi, in Beverly Hills on Thursday.

Kelsey Grammer, 71, and his partner, 47-year-old Walsh, appeared cheerful leaving the restaurant with takeout containers. They had also been there celebrating Valentine’s Day.

She held the bag as well as three pizza boxes. 

Oh my gosh, he looked incredible! He was wearing this amazing deep green shirt-jacket – like, a really nice one – over a simple black tee. And of course, he finished the look with jeans and those perfect black and white sneakers. Seriously, everything he wears is just… chef’s kiss.

Walsh was wearing a long, flowing dress with a brown and white pattern. Her long, straight, light brown hair framed her face.

The couple’s outing comes five months after they welcomed their fourth child.

Grammer married Walsh in 2011, following the completion of his divorce from Camille Grammer that same year.

Last October, Walsh and Grammer welcomed their son, Christopher, making Grammer a father of eight children.

Oh my gosh, you guys, he had a baby! At 70! He was just saying how unbelievably lucky and blessed he feels to be a dad again, and honestly, it’s the sweetest thing ever. I can’t even imagine! It just proves he’s the best, and this little one is so, so lucky to have him as a father. It’s just… perfect!

‘It’s wonderful, what a blessing it is to have a small child in my life,’ he told TMZ in December. 

At the Giving a Smile Foundation Gala, he shared how much his family means to him, saying there’s nothing more fulfilling than spending time with his wife and four children.

The actor shared that becoming a father to his daughter, Spencer, in 1983 was a very different experience than it is now. He was married to Doreen Alderman at the time, and it was his first time being a dad.

He explained that when you’re young, you’re focused on establishing yourself, supporting your family, and becoming the person you aspire to be, but all of that takes a lot of time and effort.

He shared with E! News that becoming a dad to Christopher has been wonderful. He described Christopher as a very easygoing child, and praised his wife, Kayte, for being an amazing mother. He added that while they were still learning with their first few children, they’ve really found their rhythm now.

Oh my gosh, you guys, he’s finally sleeping through the night! It’s just… everything! He’s completely captivated me, this little one. He’s so sweet, and this morning he was smiling at me, and we were just having the cutest little back-and-forth! It’s like, our whole family is just… complete. This new little life has just brought so much joy, it’s incredible!

As a lifestyle expert, I often talk about blended families, and Kelsey Grammer’s is a great example! Beyond his youngest child, he’s also a proud dad to Faith, who’s 13, Gabriel, 11, and nine-year-old James, all with his ex-wife Camille Walsh. It’s wonderful to see him balancing life with such a lovely group of kids.

They first met in 2009 while flying from London to Los Angeles – she was a flight attendant on the plane.

The veteran actor is also dad to daughter Greer, 34, with makeup artist Barrie Buckner.

And he shares daughter Mason, 24, and son Jude, 21, with ex-wife Camille.

He said he feels like he’s been given another chance to get fatherhood right.

Even with older children, I still think back on things and wonder if I could have been a better parent,” Grammer said. “I often wish we had been closer and that I’d handled things differently.

‘It’s been a great life with me and my families and the chances I’ve had with the kids.’
