In 1995, Ripa and Consuelos first crossed paths on the set of All MY Children. They officially went public as a couple the following February.
In just three short months, they followed their feelings and made a trip to a Las Vegas wedding chapel where they chose to tie the knot.
According to Ripa, we had a falling out but then reconciled just before we ran off and secretly tied the knot. To put it simply, we eloped – we flew to Las Vegas and got hitched. (In Style reports this detail.)
They shared that, given their back-to-back days off from work, they opted to run away and get married without a big, elaborate ceremony, as they preferred to avoid the planning process.
