Kelly Ripa shared with her television partner and spouse, Mark Consuelos, that she wouldn’t consider dating anyone anew should they ever decide to part ways.

This famous duo from the entertainment world, aged 54 each, secretly got married in 1996 during their time working together on the popular daytime drama, All My Children.

Two years back, his career path crossed hers once more as he began working alongside her on the morning show they both host, now known as Live! with Kelly and Ryan.

Now, Kelly, mother of three – Michael (age 28), Lola (age 24), and Joaquin (age 22) with her partner Mark – has revealed her thoughts on what she might do in case their relationship were to end.

As a mother of three, there are just so many stories I could share, I quipped playfully – only to reveal some surprising insights about my post-divorce romantic escapades.

Kelly admitted that he would disintegrate completely if they got divorced, but with a hint of secrecy, he also mentioned: ‘That’s accurate, but there’s someone who would be there to catch me when I fall and help me recover. I’d need to adapt to their school routine and everything else associated with it.’

Maintaining her composure amidst the banter, Kelly chuckled and replied with a witty remark: “Gosh, I sure hope I’m around to meet your second spouse!

In a chat with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, Mark disclosed that they had a short-lived separation prior to their wedding, which was right before they got married.

In the midst of our separation, I found myself compelled to cross paths once more – this time to mutually endorse “All My Children” on the popular morning talk show, “Live with Regis and Kathie Lee.” Little did I know that this encounter would eventually lead to Kelly Ripa and Regis Philbin sharing the same stage as co-hosts.

Mark stated that we were all packed tightly together, much like pieces of furniture, during a Queen for a Day special event for Mother’s Day. He emphasized that we were all there together,” said Mark.

He recalled that she refused to communicate with him, which drove him insane. Admitingly, he pursued her in Central Park, relentlessly followed her, and eventually, we ended up at his residence. The very next day, we got married.

In 1994, Kelly and Mark first met when he auditioned for the soap opera “All My Children,” where she was already a main cast member at that time.

The daytime soap opera “All My Children” played a significant role in launching both Kelly and Mark’s professional careers, not just that, it also brought them together on a personal level, paving the way for their eventual marriage.

They secretly got married in Las Vegas on May 1, 1966, without informing their coworkers about their relationship until three months later.

Kelly clarified that their secrecy was due to the fact that they collaborated closely, and they didn’t want others to misunderstand that they had any issues working together.

People discovered that they were in a relationship and had gotten married when Wendy Williams, a radio personality at the time, announced it during her broadcast.

Over several decades, their professional paths diverged, with her rising to prominence as a top morning radio host in America, while he found himself starring in television shows like Riverdale.
