Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos’ bizarre choice of toilet paper leaves fans stunned

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos left their followers stunned by unveiling an atypical bathroom layout along with a peculiar preference for toilet paper, causing quite a stir among their audience.

In simpler terms, the married television personalities shared that they keep a specific brand of toilet paper in one of their bathrooms to complement the room’s decor.

Last Tuesday, they shared details about their on-set bathroom during an episode of their daytime talk show, Live with Kelly and Ryan.

54-year-olds Ripa and Consuelos opted to purchase black toilet paper instead of white, ensuring it wouldn’t contrast in their entirely black bathroom, according to People magazine.

Ripa expressed that things seemed fine, but her husband held a different opinion. This statement was made approximately a week following an on-air disagreement they had about family issues.

In Ripa’s own words, she shared that someone had playfully suggested using black toilet paper to match the black bathroom decor.

Funny enough, it seems quite ordinary now. Initially, the oddity lay with the white toilet paper, but not anymore.

The actor from All My Children expressed a contrasting viewpoint and said, “It just doesn’t seem usual to me.

Later on, Ripa casually mentioned, “It seems no one actually uses that bathroom,” prompting her husband to chime in, “Actually, I do.

Well, that’s interesting. I haven’t been using the black toilet paper. I simply prefer its appearance. It matches well with the wall,” Ripa mentioned.

In their chat with the media outlet, the duo disclosed that they had affectionate names for their separate dressing rooms on the set of their morning program as well.

Ripa mentioned that the inspiration for naming their separate dressing rooms ‘Lucy and Desi’, in honor of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, originated from Mark’s suggestion.

‘Lucy and Desi. Desi is the guy’s bathroom, Lucy is the girl’s,’ Consuelos explained.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’d share: “I mentioned afterwards, ‘You know, it’s reminiscent of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. That’s his favorite duo, so he affectionately labeled our dressing rooms with their names. It’s quite charming, don’t you think?

Previously, they invited Architectural Digest for a video tour inside their luxurious townhouse in the heart of New York City, which they graciously opened last year.

For approximately three decades, Ripa and Consuelos have been husband and wife, and they’re blessed with three children: their eldest daughter, Lola, who is 24 years old, followed by their two sons, Michael (age 28) and Joaquin (age 22).

In the course of showing their house, Ripa mentioned that they’ve been residing there for more than a decade, referring to the townhouse as their “most beloved spot on the planet.

Regardless of the places we’ve lived throughout our lives, I consider this residence as my permanent dwelling, Ripa mentioned as she displayed their main bedroom.

Upon entering, I found myself thinking, “This is the perfect home I’ve been longing for.” I have such a deep affection for this house.
