Kelly Osbourne celebrated her son Sidney’s third birthday on Thursday by sharing heartwarming Instagram photos of her late father, Ozzy, with Sidney.
Black Sabbath’s iconic frontman passed away from heart failure at his home in Buckinghamshire on July 22nd, at the age of 76. This came just two weeks after he played a final show with the band at Villa Park in Birmingham.
Now in the new pictures, Ozzy looked happier than ever as he spent quality time with his grandson.
The musician quickly enjoyed some playtime with his grandson, Sidney, in their luxurious outdoor pool. Later, he snuggled up with his wife, Sharon, for a heartwarming photo of their grandson in bed.
Kelly shared that she feels Ozzy is looking over her son, and she was deeply moved while creating a touching video filled with photos, to the point of crying.
It’s hard to believe it’s already been three years! Making this video brought back a lot of emotions, and so much wonderful change has happened in my life over the past three years.

Happy birthday to my sweet little one! Your papa would be so incredibly proud of the wonderful young man you’re growing into. Three years old already – I love you so much!
This news follows Kelly’s recent 41st birthday celebration on Instagram, which was her first since the passing of her father, Ozzy.
Kelly shared a heartfelt post before her wedding, showing the lovely cards her father, Ozzy, had sent her throughout the years. She expressed feeling heartbroken knowing she wouldn’t receive any more.
She shared some old photos of her and her father, along with a heartfelt message. She wrote that tomorrow will be the first birthday since her dad passed away, and that she always especially looked forward to spending the day with him and receiving his birthday cards.
It breaks my heart knowing I’ll never receive another message from my dad. They were always brief and straightforward, but they always conveyed exactly what I needed to hear. I love you, Daddy. Tomorrow will be incredibly difficult without you.
Sharon, Kelly’s mother, who is 73 years old, shared a birthday message for her daughter, saying, ‘Happy Birthday, Kelly! I’m so proud of you, you mean the world to me’.
Earlier this month at The Birmingham Awards, Kelly became emotional and gave a heartfelt speech accepting a Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of someone.
Oh my god, it was so emotional! She was practically crying when she said that Ozzy was way more thrilled to get his star on Birmingham’s Walk of Stars than the one in Hollywood. Can you believe it? Birmingham is home to him, and it meant the world! It just proves how much that city means to him, more than all the LA glitz and glamour. I was sobbing right along with her, honestly!

I was so touched to hear that the iconic singer made one last trip to Birmingham before he passed. Apparently, he felt a deep connection to the city – a place where he famously performed with Black Sabbath at Villa Park – and wanted to privately say goodbye. It just shows how important a sense of place and personal connection can be, even for a legend.
In a portion of her speech, Kelly explained that while many singers never win an award, this particular honor meant more to her than any other she’d received.
He was thrilled to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but he cherished his star on the Walk of Stars in his hometown on Broad Street even more.
Although his career kept him in America for a long time, he always considered Birmingham his true home.
In a video captured by Joe Kenny from Done For You Sales Agency—a company nominated for Best Start Up of the Year—Kelly explained that he deeply loved the city and its people, and they loved him in return. That’s why it meant so much to him to return one last time in July to say goodbye.
We were deeply touched by the incredible show of love and support. Seeing so many people line the streets and stop the city meant the world to my family and me.
He spent over fifty years performing countless shows, but the concert he considered most significant was the one he played in Aston. Even as his health declined, he insisted his last performance be held there.
As someone who really understands the importance of staying true to your roots, I always admired my dad’s unwavering pride in being a Brummie – it was with him from the very start of his career, and right up until the end. Speaking for my dad and our whole family, I want to express our deepest gratitude for this incredible lifetime achievement award. I can just feel he’s looking down on us tonight, beaming with pride.

The following day, Kelly posted on Instagram, saying the Black Sabbath singer would have been proud to win the award.
Last night, I was honored to accept a lifetime achievement award for my father at the Birmingham Awards.
I’m incredibly grateful for all the love and support I’ve received. My dad would have been so proud, especially because he was immensely proud of being from Birmingham – it meant the world to him.
He truly cherished the city and its residents. Receiving this recognition would have been incredibly meaningful to him. Thank you, sincerely.
People quickly shared messages of support, with comments like ‘He’s so proud!’ and ‘Kelly, you look beautiful.’ Many also honored her father, saying his music will live on.
‘Very, very nice. Be so proud of your father. You look great. He’s watching from above,’;
It’s wonderful you were able to do that for your dad. I know he’s watching over you and the whole family with a smile. His memory will live on forever.
You’re such a wonderful daughter. Thank you for accepting this for him – you truly are the best. Ozzy was incredibly proud of you. We miss him very much, but we believe he’s still watching over everyone. Sending blessings to you all and your mother.
