Kelly Osbourne Calls Out Celebrities for Using LA Fires as a ‘Photo Op’!

In a strongly worded video, Kelly Osbourne criticizes celebrities for supposedly exploiting the Los Angeles fires by using them as a photo opportunity.

40-year-old Kelly Osbourne, daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, found the actions of certain celebrities ‘troubling’ as she expressed her thoughts on the ongoing disaster that has devastated countless homes and claimed the lives of 24 people in California.

Without explicitly mentioning them, it was implied that these celebrities were being criticized: Jennifer Garner, Beyoncé, Eva Longoria, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle. These notable figures have been spotted assisting and donating during the fires. The duo of Harry and Meghan were referred to as “tourists of disaster” for posing with those impacted in Pasadena.

Ozzy commented: “Am I just being my typical skeptic, or does it seem incredibly unsettling to observe celebrities exploiting others’ misery for self-promotion by posing as if they’re aiding, helping, or involved in various things?

I think your assistance isn’t driven by the pursuit of attention, but rather, it comes from a genuine desire to help.

‘I’m so confused, I think it’s so wrong, no-one asked you to come out and give hugs, go home.’

Just last week, Prince Harry and Meghan unexpectedly showed up at a food bank, offering solace to both fire victims and emergency responders who are currently battling the persistent wildfires in Los Angeles.

On Friday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex distributed emergency food packages to individuals impacted by the destructive wildfires at the Pasadena Convention Center, serving as a temporary shelter, where they provided aid.

In the aftermath of the wildfires, a couple was observed embracing José Andrés, the mastermind behind World Central Kitchen, as they distribute complimentary warm meals to both the general public and emergency response teams.

Meghan, clad in a light-blue shirt and a blue baseball hat, and Harry, sporting a black baseball hat and black polo shirt, additionally engaged in conversation with Mayor Victor Gordo of Pasadena.

According to the Mayor, the couple was more than willing to offer any assistance they could. He praised them as outstanding individuals with captivating personalities.

The Mayor stated, “They truly lifted the morale of the first responders. We went to their command post at the Rose Bowl, and everyone was quite joyful upon seeing them.

The conversation aired live on FOX LA, and subsequently, Susan Hirasuna faced backlash on social media for referring to Meghan as ‘Princess Markle.’ Additionally, she was criticized for commenting that Meghan mixed with ordinary people, or ‘the commoners.’

The live conversation was aired on FOX LA, and Susan Hirasuna received criticism online for calling Meghan ‘Princess Markle’ and implying she spent time with regular folks.)

After the couple had their $29 million mansion in Montecito, approximately 90 miles from Los Angeles, opened for their friends and dear ones – those who had been displaced by the ongoing wildfires – they were welcomed inside.

Previously on the airwave, Ms. Hirasuna referred to Meghan as ‘Princess Meghan’. This labeling sparked a wave of criticism from some viewers who felt it was inappropriate in her report.

People often corrected her title on social media, explaining that Meghan is actually the Duchess of Sussex, not a Princess.

Friend on YouTube: ‘Hi there, I wanted to clarify that Markel isn’t referred to as a princess. Instead, she holds the title of Duchess, which comes with certain restrictions regarding its usage. Just thought you might find that interesting.’

A different user stated: ‘Once more, she is not a princess!!’, and another mentioned: ‘Please stop referring to her as a princess; that’s not her official title.’

On Instagram, elsewhere, users criticized the coverage as awkward or uncomfortable following Ms. Hirasuna’s comment about the couple socializing with ordinary people, which she referred to as the “commoners.

One person wrote: ‘Absolute cringeworthy – the newscaster. Princess. Commoners. Geez.’

In a message posted on their website, Sussex.com, Harry and Meghan have appealed to fellow Los Angeles residents to offer their homes as shelters for those affected by the ongoing wildfires, which have reduced many celebrity homes to mere piles of ash and debris.

On the ninth day, firefighters continue their struggle against four separate wildfires that have burned through approximately 38,690 acres of land. The Palisades fire is currently 19% contained, and the Eaton (Altadena) fire has reached 45% containment.
