Kelly Clarkson’s Shocking Transformation
Fans have applauded Kelly Clarkson as she chose to forego her usual glam squad for an episode of the Kylie Kelce podcast, “Not Gonna Lie.
In an upcoming episode, a sneak peek features Kelly, age 42, without makeup and her hair hidden under a hat, openly discussing a challenge she has been encountering at her children’s school.
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I must say, it’s refreshing to see the relatable side of celebrities like Kelly. Dressed casually in a sweatshirt, she resonated with many as she openly discussed her challenges, making her feel ‘just like us.’ Her authenticity was commendable as she spoke candidly about issues like an ordinary individual.
One fan commented with enthusiasm, “The authenticity on this podcast is refreshing. It seems like people can just be themselves without feeling the need to put on airs, which I find really admirable.” The comment received more than 3,200 likes.
Responding to this, another user expressed: ‘As soon as I saw it, I thought, “Ah, just like Kelly, no fuss with makeup or hair under a hat.” It feels relatable.’

The original poster expressed agreement and added that discussing common parental challenges in a casual manner is refreshing. They appreciate it!
During her pandemic-related performances, Kelly opted not to use makeup: ‘She appeared without makeup in her shows held over Zoom during the pandemic, and she looked just as she does here.’
Another said it was refreshing seeing the superstar keeping it casual.
‘Kelly is a breath of fresh air. I freaking love her for showing up as herself!’ another posted.
One called Kelly’s cosmetics-free look a ‘flex.’
‘Kelly Clarkson with no makeup on is a FLEX! She is so awesome,’ they remarked.
In response to someone expressing affection for a genuine Kelly, another fan shared, “I adore her immensely with no makeup and as a genuine mother.” A third person added, “She got me hooked as a better mom,” using an emoji of a skull to express their sentiment, in reference to comments she made during the podcast.
The preview displayed Kelly expressing her frustration over the inconvenient timings when schools arranged student concerts or plays.

Kelly, mother of 10-year-old River Rose and 8-year-old Remington Alexander (with her former husband Brandon Blackstock), mentioned that the uncommon scheduling of the performances creates challenges for parents who are employed to attend these events.
She clarified, “Honestly speaking, I can’t understand why school systems believe it’s beneficial for families and their mental well-being to schedule weekly performances in the morning, specifically at 10am.
‘Breaking News – Many people have jobs, which might not be shocking to some, but consider this: most jobs don’t allow you the luxury of giving advance notice for a day off, especially in the morning, making it difficult to arrange personal matters.’
However, if you were in a position of authority and could exert such control, it’s important to note that our children often fail to comprehend such situations. Consequently, when we are absent, it may give the impression that we don’t care or are being unfair, which is not the case. This can lead to questions like, “Why was Mom not here?”
If you’re the boss and can call the shots, our kids might not get it, and we could seem harsh or uncaring when we’re not around. Then they may wonder why we weren’t there.
‘And then you have to say, “Because that kid got a better mom,”‘ she said with laughter.
One person commented, “@kellyclarkson, we can all relate to the challenges you faced at your school! 🙌🙌
‘All too relatable. AMEN!’ another wrote.

‘Damn Kelly has been waiting to get that off her chest. So valid,’ another said.
Currently, Kelly is back on her daily talk show following a secretive break related to personal issues.
Her mysterious remark upon returning to The Kelly Clarkson Show last Thursday, during its milestone 1,000th episode, raised some curiosity among viewers.
After coming back, she became more open and honest. To mark the special occasion of this significant episode, she confessed that she feels ‘misplaced, isolated, quite often.’

While recording the session, the Grammy-winning vocalist contemplated her progression ever since she launched her program on NBC back in September 2019.
Instead of directly addressing her recent absence, she hinted at it by mentioning that she had experienced a series of highs and lows in the past, during a touching speech.
She expressed, “Welcome to the Kelly Clarkson Show as we celebrate our 1,000th episode! I still can’t wrap my head around it – it seems unbelievable!
I’ve had the privilege of encountering an incredible array of gifted individuals. Among them are renowned celebrities who shine brightly, as well as ordinary folks whose daily lives inspire us all.
She enthusiastically shared how they’ve built a close-knit group where everyone has helped one another during numerous triumphs and challenges.

Appearing to draw from her recent experiences and the ‘private issue’ she’s been managing, she playfully commented, ‘I’ve had a lot of highs and lows on a personal level too.’
The artist famed for “Since U Been Gone” reminisced about her experiences hosting her program throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and recording shows while enduring numerous injuries. She even recalled instances such as wearing an eyepatch and having a leg in a cast.
Throughout all of the memories, she joked that she ‘still can’t cook.’
She expressed that for a thousand instances, we’ve shared laughter, tears, and heartwarming tales; sung along with various individuals, danced in unison, reveled in joyous occasions, and faced challenges side by side – these are the emotionally charged experiences she was referring to.
‘I’ve lost, alone, a lot,’ she added, without any additional details nor clarification.

It’s possible that she was discussing her divorce, given that she had been married to her former spouse for about seven years before they separated in June 2020.
Last year, she filed a lawsuit against Blackstock, alleging that he had conducted unauthorized business transactions on her behalf without proper authorization.
In May 2024, they resolved the disputes about commissions which had been ongoing since their divorce was made official two years prior, marking an end to a long-standing and contentious legal dispute.
Over the last few years, besides dealing with her divorce and related court issues, she has also undertaken a significant weight loss transformation.
