Kelly Brook’s FIVE failed engagements as I’m A Celeb star shocks fans with admission on her colourful love life

Kelly Brook, known for appearing on ‘I’m A Celebrity…’, surprised viewers on Thursday’s episode by sharing that she’s been engaged five times.

Oh my gosh, Kelly finally found her happily ever after with Jeremy Parisi! It took her a while – she went through so many relationships before him – but honestly, seeing them together just proves it was all worth the wait. I’ve been following her journey for years, and I’m so incredibly happy she found her person!

Kelly and Jeremy got married in July 2022, after dating for over ten years since 2014.

Before marrying the Italian model, Kelly had several failed engagements to a number of famous former partners, including two Hollywood actors and a star of the movie Gladiator.

Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE her dating history! First, she was with Jason Statham – Jason Statham! – for seven whole years! Can you imagine? And before him, she dated Billy Kane, another actor, which was cute, but then… then she started seeing Danny Cipriani, that incredibly gorgeous rugby player. Honestly, her taste is just amazing! I’ve been following her since the beginning, and it’s been such a ride!

After that, she dated rugby player Thom Evans – he’s now engaged to Nicole Scherzinger – and had a short relationship with David McIntosh, who starred in the show Gladiator.

Kelly admitted she used to be firmly against marriage. She’d been engaged and broken up with five times before she finally met her husband!

My husband didn’t actually propose to me. I think he was afraid of it because my previous engagements had all ended badly, and he worried the same thing would happen again.

Kelly’s admission left viewers at home aghast as she spoke about her colourful love life.

Jason Statham: 1997-2004

Kelly dated The Meg actor between 1997 and 2004, and he even popped the question in that period.

The actress has shared before that whenever she brought up marriage or having a baby with Jason, he was unwilling to make a commitment.

On Elizabeth Day’s podcast, How To Fail, Kelly explained that their relationship ended because he didn’t support her the way she had supported him – specifically, he missed an important event for her, after she’d always been there for him.

She actually put her own dreams and career on hold for them! It’s heartbreaking, but also…so relatable, you know? It just proves how amazing and honest she is to talk about stuff like this.

Kelly was happily employed at MTV when she and Jason relocated to Los Angeles. Jason quickly started landing roles in movies and rose to fame as a leading action star, and Kelly supported him throughout his success.

She admitted that while his career was taking off, hers was struggling. She felt overlooked and unsupported, especially because she hadn’t received the same encouragement from him that she had given him.

His career really started to flourish, but I ended up sacrificing a lot of myself in the process. I felt overlooked and unsupported in the relationship, and eventually, I fell out of love with him because he wasn’t there for me the way I was for him. I just felt completely unseen.

She ended things with Jason because she felt he’d lost touch with who she was as a person. Although it was a hard choice, she believed it was the right one.

Oh my god, it’s just… I can’t even with him. Apparently, when she broke up with him, he literally begged her, like, ‘Why now? Seriously, I’m a movie star, I have money, why are you leaving now?’ It’s just… so him. So desperate and entitled. I swear, he thinks being rich and famous should make everyone stay with him, no matter what! It’s honestly heartbreaking… and infuriating, all at the same time. I just… I can’t believe he said that.

I told him he didn’t understand what I was going through because he hadn’t been there for me. I explained that I was in the process of finding myself as a woman, and that he didn’t really know me anymore. He remembered the person I was when I left MTV, the girl who was with him then, but he didn’t know the woman I had become.

It was a difficult period, but I realized it was the first time I truly prioritized my own needs, and it turned out to be the right choice.

In 2010, Jason began a relationship with model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. They later became engaged and now have two children: Jack, who is eight, and Isabella, who is three.

When they separated, Kelly shared with Hello! Magazine that she had changed significantly from the person she was when she first met Jason.

She explained that she’d changed since they first met, becoming more complicated and needing more attention. She added that people often don’t realize what they truly desire until they experience it.

Billy Zane: 2004-2008

Fiancé number two was another actor – American Billy Zane, now 59.

Kelly shared that Jason’s reluctance to get married or have children contributed to her developing a relationship with Billy. They first met in 2004 while filming the show Survival Island, also called Three.

The couple got engaged and shared a £1 million farmhouse in Kent before breaking up in 2008. Sources say Kelly decided she no longer wanted to marry Billy.

Kelly and her partner briefly got back together in early 2008, but she later called off their wedding, feeling she wasn’t ready for marriage at 28.

Despite a £35,000 engagement ring, their relationship ultimately ended with a final split in September 2008.

She previously shared with Weekend Magazine that Jason was her first love, but her relationship with Billy was just a brief romance and not something she envisioned lasting a lifetime.

I always felt like my relationship with Billy was a make-or-break situation, and unfortunately, it fell apart. Jason still says, even now, that it was his pride that caused the problem – he just couldn’t accept things as they were.

She described their intense and frequent arguments, sharing that he once threw all of her clothes away during a particularly bad fight. She felt their relationship wasn’t a genuine partnership, but more like an unrealistic dream.

She described her four years with Billy as a whirlwind of luxury travel, including constant private jet flights and first-class trips to amazing places around the globe – even though he didn’t own a home during that time.

She explained that she was primarily covering the expenses, and while she’d built a comfortable life for herself, she felt she couldn’t maintain their current lifestyle. She realized it was difficult for someone accustomed to being a Hollywood star to adjust to living with her in a more ordinary area like Sydenham.

One of the reasons I didn’t marry him was because he was easily distracted by other people. I’d built a life for myself, and I wasn’t willing to share it with someone who didn’t appreciate my efforts.

Billy was previously married to Lisa Collins from 1989 to 1995.

Kelly admitted on the radio that her past relationships hadn’t led to any particularly special or memorable moments, and she was being honest about it, even if it sounded a little harsh.

Danny Cipriani : 2008-2010

After Billy, Kelly dated rugby player Danny Cipriani for two years, from 2008 until 2010.

The model reportedly ended her relationship with the athlete after discovering evidence he was unfaithful. She found messages on his phone indicating he had been communicating with other women.

Danny and Kelly each claimed the other was unfaithful. In her 2014 autobiography, Kelly described how Danny, a rugby star, was allegedly too preoccupied with other women to even perform basic tasks like flushing the toilet.

In his 2023 book, Danny alleged that Kelly had a secret romantic getaway with him while she was still dating Thom Evans, implying she was unfaithful to him.

It really stung when I found out how much Kelly’s relationship with Thom, a teammate of Danny’s, affected him. She moved on with Thom after they dated between 2010 and 2012, and Danny has since shared how deeply hurt he was by it all. It was tough to see him go through that.

Danny explained to The Sun on Sunday that he felt justified in his actions, believing he’d lost ownership of something that was once his. He added that he and Thom were friends, making the situation particularly challenging.

He said he had a secret meeting with Kelly in Mauritius while she was still with Thom, even though he thought it was wrong.

Kelly and Thom ended their relationship in January 2013. She publicly stated that rumors about Danny being involved were untrue, and that she and Thom had simply decided to separate amicably.

She and Danny briefly got back together, but their relationship ended when she discovered explicit messages to many other women on his phone.

Thom Evans: 2010-2013

Thom Evans, a 40-year-old Scottish rugby player, was engaged to Kelly and they were in a relationship from 2010 to 2013.

They experienced the heartbreak of two miscarriages during their relationship. After losing their first child in May 2011, they decided to get engaged.

I was really touched by Kelly’s openness this week. She shared her incredibly personal story about the heartbreak of losing her baby during a miscarriage, and it really resonated with me. It takes so much courage to speak out about something so painful, and I admire her for doing so.

During an interview on the How To Fail podcast with Elizabeth Day, she discussed becoming pregnant in her thirties with someone she hadn’t been dating long. She felt pressure, thinking it might be her last chance to have a child and considered continuing the pregnancy for that reason.

He seems like a good person, and perhaps this is the solution we’ve been looking for. Maybe once that issue with the taxi light is resolved, we can move forward with this plan.

Kelly explained that Thom was eager to start a family. Although she had some initial reservations about motherhood, stemming from her own experiences with her mother, she quickly became enthusiastic about the idea.

She went on to share that she experienced a miscarriage at six months, which was incredibly traumatic and the most devastating experience of her life.

Recovering took a long time, and honestly, I don’t think I ever fully did. The experience ended my relationship, and I had to rebuild my life and keep going.

In 2020, Kelly seemed to subtly criticize Thom while discussing her pattern of dating younger partners.

She shared with Closer Magazine that she used to overwork herself and seek revenge on those who treated her poorly. She also admitted that during her thirties, she dated much younger men who lacked direction in life.

It’s just… I found out I was pregnant by someone who was on a reality TV show – it feels so surreal! I’m not blaming anyone, and it wasn’t really the right moment for either of us, so I don’t hold any hard feelings.

Thom is now engaged to Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger after he popped the question in 2023.

David McIntosh: 2014-2015

For her fourth engagement, Kelly dated Gladiator competitor David McIntosh, now 39.

The couple were together for less than a year before they split in January 2015.

David proposed after only eleven weeks of dating, but their relationship ended in a very bitter breakup just six months after that.

Everyone was surprised by his proposal, especially since Kelly had broken up with him just two weeks before and removed him from all her social media.

Kelly reportedly told Sarah that David was unkind and harsh. She explained that she’d stopped loving him some time ago, describing him as insecure and someone who wouldn’t treat a woman well, according to The Sun.

Jeremy Parisi: 2014- Now

Kelly first met hunky French model Jeremy in 2014 after watching one of his Instagram videos.

I was so thrilled when Kelly and Jeremy started dating! It all began when Kelly bravely messaged Jeremy on Instagram. They quickly bonded over a shared passion – they’re both really into martial arts and staying fit, which is awesome to see!

When Jeremy and his partner first started dating, he wasn’t very fluent in English – he mainly spoke French and Italian.

The radio host used to translate for Jeremy, but even now that he speaks English well, she still feels comfortable speaking for him when needed.

The pair tied the knot in Italy in 2022.

She’s acknowledged that people often feel she interrupts Jeremy. She explained this is because she tends to talk a lot, and early on, when Jeremy moved to the UK, he didn’t speak English. She got into the habit of speaking for him then, and it’s been hard to stop.

Kelly shared that she often declines job offers if they would require her to be away from her husband, Jeremy. She explained that they are very close and simply enjoy being together constantly.

‘Well, I definitely wanna be with him all the time, not sure he would say the same.

We enjoy having independent work time, but dinner together as a couple is a really important and special tradition for us. Our marriage is something we deeply cherish.

Kelly shared in September that she and her partner had intentionally decided not to have children, but she also confessed that she sometimes still feels sad about it.

‘The time has probably run out, I don’t know, I just have to get my head around it,’ she reflected.

She wondered what it would feel like to see him have children with someone else if their marriage didn’t last.

We decided a long time ago not to have kids, but I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t be sad about it.

I didn’t meet my husband until I was 36, which feels quite late in life,” she explained. They both decided they wanted a more relaxed and peaceful way of living.

She confessed they simply wanted a quiet life together, and neither of them really felt a desire to have children and deal with all the challenges that come with raising them.
