Keith Urban reveals concerns he shares with wife Nicole Kidman over their daughter Sunday Rose making modelling debut: ‘It’s all a challenge’
As a long-time admirer of the Kidman-Urban family dynasty, I must say, Sunday Rose’s debut at Miu Miu’s Paris Womenswear Spring-Summer 2025 show has left me absolutely starstruck! Being a ‘nepo baby’ with such iconic parents as Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, Sunday is already walking on the path of greatness.
Last week, Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban made her debut in the world of modeling by strutting down the runway for the Miu Miu Women’s Spring-Summer 2025 collection in Paris.
Keith Urban, her well-known father, mentions that they, together with Nicole Kidman, are making sure their teenage daughter maintains a harmonious blend of her new lifestyle with academic responsibilities.
56-year-old Australian country musician expressed his great pride in the 16-year-old, but also emphasized that he will exercise caution moving forward, as reported to People Magazine.
‘Hopefully we can just help her keep balance with everything through all of that,’ he said.
‘Hopefully she’ll benefit by having two parents that know about a certain amount of celebrity.’
Keith emphasized, “Everything’s like a test. To be precise, rearing children is undeniably a test of endurance. It’s essentially about finding equilibrium. It’s an ongoing journey, but maintaining balance seems crucial.
‘Keeping her firmly with schoolwork and structure and everything balanced in its place is key.’
For her initial modeling appearance, the teenage model found herself surrounded by distinguished company. She walked alongside notable figures such as Willem Dafoe and Hillary Swank from the United States, Amelia Grey who’s a model, UK rapper Little Simz, and the South Korean actress Minnie (Nicha Yontararak), a well-known figure in her field.
Sunday Rose was also joined by fellow ‘nepo baby’ Eliot Sumner, the offspring of UK rock icon Sting and wife Trudy Styler, who was also making a runway debut.
She looked all business, sporting a stoic expression as she confidently strode the catwalk.
On Sunday, she presented an impressive image in a pristine, sleeveless gown adorned with fine ribbons, hailing from the prestigious Italian fashion house.
For the Spring 2025 Miu Miu fashion show, she confidently displayed her style, followed by a chat with Vogue for their Instagram profile on a Tuesday.
With a beaming grin, the budding fashion model identified herself following her debut walk, sporting the crisp, all-white linen ensemble she showcased during the showcase.
She expressed that she had been eagerly waiting to have this opportunity for a long time. When the chance arrived, it was truly thrilling, and now, the day she’s been anticipating has finally come – this was how she described her first appearance.
‘I was really stressed and then… everyone here was really nice.’
On Sunday, the first appearance was hailed as a major triumph by fashion authority Vogue, who commented: ‘Given this outcome, what can we expect for Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban during the fall 2025 collections in February? I’d venture to guess that it will be one event after another.’
At the event, her well-known mother, Nicole (age 57), was present, and afterward, they were spotted together at the Miu Miu dinner gathering.
In the summer of 2008, Nicole and her spouse, Keith, brought their first-born, Sunday, into the world in Nashville. Later, in the year 2010, they added another child, Faith, to their family.
