This psychological thriller is adapted from Ruth Ware’s popular 2016 novel. It centers on Laura, who takes a job traveling on a luxurious yacht.
Late at night, she saw someone fall overboard, but when she told the crew, they insisted it must have been a dream, claiming everyone was present and safe.
In the film, Guy plays Richard Bullmer, Hannah plays Heidi, Daniel plays Adam, Gitte plays Carrie, and David plays Ben.
The film also features a talented cast including Kaya Scodelario, Art Malik, David Morrissey, Paul Kaye, and John Macmillan.
Okay, so I was reading an interview with Ruth, the author of this amazing story I’m completely obsessed with, and she said something that *really* hit home. She wrote it ten years ago, but she told Tudum that it still feels relevant now because, sadly, the feeling of nobody believing you? That *never* goes away. It’s just… always there, and it’s so true! It’s why the story gets to me so much, honestly.
As a lifestyle expert, I often explore stories about women’s voices, and ‘Cabin 10’ really resonated with me. At its core, it’s a story about a woman who witnesses something disturbing, bravely speaks up about it, but finds her concerns dismissed simply because of who she is. It’s a powerful exploration of being unheard and the challenges women face when trying to be taken seriously.
Many of us can relate to what Lo is going through, and I think we’re all hoping to see justice done – both for her and for ourselves.
She also enthusiastically praised the film’s cast and crew, expressing her confidence that her characters were well-portrayed and cared for.
Ruth shared how writing a book takes a lot of help, but making a movie is even more collaborative. She was amazed to see so many people dedicating their effort to bring her story to life on the set of ‘Cabin 10’.
It definitely takes trust, like entrusting someone else with something precious. But I’m confident Lo and the team are well taken care of.
