It seems that combining hot lava with chicken results in a brief, fleeting incident instead.
In a surprising turn of events, the catchy tune from “A Minecraft Movie” titled “Steve’s Lava Chicken Song” has managed to secure a spot on Billboard’s prestigious Hot 100 chart. This short, 34-second melody beats out previous record holders like Kid Cudi’s “Beautiful Trip” (37 seconds) and Pikotaro’s “PPAP (Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen)” (45 seconds), making it the briefest song ever to make the Hot 100 list. As of May 3, according to Billboard, this tune debuted at number 78 on their chart.
Compared to “Pete Davidson” by Ariana Grande, which is about a minute and 13 seconds long, the shorter song “Steve’s Lava Chicken” stands out as the longer option.
× Savoring the crunchy and succulent, it’s your tasty treat now. Oh, oh, quite spicy! It’s like a fiery assault.
It’s possible that the popularity of the song is connected to the recent “chicken jockey” craze causing chaos in cinemas. However, it seems more likely that Black supports the Hot 100 charts, but disapproves of theater popcorn-tossing incidents.
Additionally, you’ll find an extended version of the lava chicken dance remix, roughly a minute and a half long, along with vocals by Jason Momoa’s character Garrett, circulating as well.
Movie music doesn’t get much juicier than that.
