Following the triumphant joint launch of the Jasper Zionic Sneaker, KEEN and Gramicci are joining forces once more for a second collaborative footwear project.

The Newport Retro Sandal, a blend between water sandals and hiking shoes, serves as the star attraction in the sophomore collaboration from this brand. It boasts a robust hemp construction and features Gramicci’s distinctive crisscross mountain stitching.

Kohei Yamazaki, KEEN’s head designer at the Tokyo Design Center, remarks that Newport in hemp, a past release that was highly popular, particularly in Japan, is like a masterwork. Both brands are delving into their historical resources, looking back to move forward with an eco-friendly intent.
