Keanu Reeves’ girlfriend shares rare kissing photo with her beau of seven years as they enjoy romantic date

Matrix movie star Keanu Reeves seems to have a romantic side.

On Tuesday, the famous actor was seen enjoying a classic date with his girlfriend of many years, 52-year-old artist Alexandra Grant.

They were ice skating at Rockefeller Center in New York City, holding hands under the moonlit sky.

They were a little unsteady at first, getting used to the slippery ice while wearing their winter clothes—coats, scarves, and hats.

It was so sweet! They shared a quick kiss in front of the Christmas tree – you know, the one they still haven’t taken down from December. It felt like a really genuine moment, even though the cameras were there.

Reeves, 61, has been in Manhattan for his new play Waiting For Godot. 

Grant shared on Instagram that Keanu Reeves asked her out after a performance of ‘Waiting for Godot’ last Monday. She included several ice skating emojis, hinting at their date activity in New York City.

This comes a month after the couple were forced to deny they are married.

Keanu Reeves, age 61, has confirmed he is not married, according to a statement released by his representative.

Reeves first went public with Grant in 2019, and six years later they seem in love as ever.

His girlfriend wished him a happy birthday on Instagram on September 3rd, posting a picture of a heart-shaped cake decorated with his name.

She expressed her gratitude for Keanu’s love and support, jokingly acknowledging he’d already seen an early version of the post.

Okay, so last year, people started buzzing when they spotted a diamond ring on Alexandra’s wedding finger! Naturally, everyone wondered if she and her partner had secretly gotten married. It really got fans talking and speculating!

I always say the best collaborations start unexpectedly! I met my business partner back in 2009 at a dinner party, and we hit it off immediately. From there, we decided to combine our creative energies and ended up producing two beautiful art books together. It just goes to show you never know where inspiration – or a great partnership – will come from!

Their bond blossomed into a romantic relationship years later. 

At the premiere of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 last December, an interviewer asked the Matrix actor if attending the event counted as a date.

He admitted it was a special occasion, explaining they had made an effort with their appearance and were thrilled to be together. He shared this with Entertainment Tonight.

Keanu recently shared a personal story with People magazine, revealing what he considers his most blissful moment.

He candidly answered, ‘A couple of days ago with my honey. We were in bed. We were connected.’

The veteran actor shared how happy they were, saying they spent the time smiling, laughing, and generally enjoying each other’s company. It was simply a really good experience being together.

He also made a rare comment about being with each other amid the onset of the pandemic in 2020.

In August, he shared with Parade magazine how happy he was with Alexandra. He said they genuinely enjoy spending time together and, after beaches reopened, they took a motorcycle trip and are working on a few projects together.

Meanwhile, Alexandra praised her partner in a September 2023 interview with People.

‘He’s such an inspiration to me. He’s so creative, he’s so kind. He works so hard,’ she said.

She talked about the benefits of dating as an adult, explaining that she’d already established her career when her relationship started. This gives her a strong sense of self-assurance, both with and without her partner, even in public settings like red carpets.
