Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock reunite for romantic thriller

Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock are reuniting for another movie.

In a new project being created by Amazon MGM Studios, the two actors who previously worked together in the 1994 action hit “Speed” and the 2006 romantic drama “The Lake House,” are planning to reunite for an upcoming untitled romantic thriller.

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, specific details about the plot are currently being concealed. However, they’ve used the term “propulsive” to describe the upcoming movie.

Noah Oppenheim has been assigned to pen the script and will also serve as a producer, joining Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves in these roles.

Other producers include Bibby Dunn, Sarah Bremner and Speed producer Mark Gordon.

The plot revolves around a city bus, set up with an explosive device by a vindictive blackmailer, which will detonate if it slows down below 50 miles per hour.

Made with a $30 million budget, the acclaimed film grossed $350 million and won two Oscars.

In 1997, the sequel named “Speed 2: Cruise Control” hit the screens, featuring Sandra Bullock reprising her role as Annie Porter. Unfortunately for Annie, her peaceful cruise trip took an ugly turn when the ship was taken hostage by a terrorist group.
