Keanu Reeves is currently thinking up ideas for a follow-up to the movie “From the World of John Wick: Ballerina”. This upcoming spinoff, helmed by Len Wiseman, sees Ana de Armas in the role of Eve Macarro as she undergoes training to become an assassin at the same academy where Reeves’ character, Baba Yaga, was born. The film takes place between “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum” and “John Wick: Chapter 4”.

In a chat with Empire Magazine, Ana de Armas – who collaborated with Keanu Reeves on ‘Knock Knock’ and ‘Exposed’ – revealed that the John Wick star had an enjoyable filming process and was considering a sequel. The actor mentioned that when they approached him about the project, Reeves expressed his readiness and has been “very eager” for the movie. Although the trailer lacked a direct confrontation between Eve and Wick, Ana de Armas has confirmed that there will be intense hand-to-hand combat scenes. Additionally, de Armas’ comments suggest that Eve’s story may not conclude with “Ballerina,” as she remains a marked individual.

In the same interview, Wiseman explained that Eve and Wick are in different mental states; while Wick is attempting to escape, Eve is making errors due to her youth, emotions, and internal anger in this film. De Armas acknowledges these mistakes, stating that they stem from her character’s age, emotionality, and pent-up rage.
