Kaz Crossley confirmed for Love Island All Stars as she lands in South Africa – two years after her harrowing imprisonment in Dubai on suspicion of drug offences
It has been confirmed that Kaz Crossley will be the second well-known personality joining the upcoming season of Love Island All Stars, which is scheduled to start airing in the coming week.
In 2018, the television personality, aged 30, featured on an ITV reality program. She advanced to the finale of the series and ended up placing third alongside Josh Denzel.
A source close to the matter informed us on Monday that Kaz has officially joined the cast and has touched down in South Africa.
The makeup artist is making a comeback to the show following her arrest and detention in the United Arab Emirates in February 2023 due to allegations of drug-related crimes.
According to a source, she expressed great joy about going back to the villa, explaining that she went through a tough period a while back, and this seems like a fantastic chance for her to let loose and enjoy herself once more.
Initially, Kaz made her debut in the fourth season of Love Island during the Casa Amor twist, and she notably diverted Josh’s attention from his previous partner, Georgia Steel.

I recounted my most terrifying ordeal ever, where I underwent a thorough body search and was confined within a jail cell alongside convicts, for an entire week.
In the capital city of the United Arab Emirates, Kaz was taken into custody, and it was mentioned by someone with inside knowledge that seeing Kaz’s name on the passport caused immediate suspicion or concern (as if a red flag was raised).
After that, she was transferred to a prison in Dubai, allegedly denied the opportunity for a call with her loved ones, yet allowed to send just one email.
At that point, an official from our diplomatic service confirmed they were communicating with local officials after a British citizen was detained in the UAE.
In a recent update, Dubai has eased its drug laws, now penalizing first-time offenders with a minimum jail term of three months and a fine ranging from approximately £4,559 to £22,799. Earlier, any drug use would have resulted in a minimum sentence of four years imprisonment for the offender.
Following my prison sentence, I was subsequently deported back to my homeland, the United Kingdom, and barred from re-entering the UAE. Penalties for drug trafficking in this region can even result in capital punishment.
On Instagram, Kaz shared her personal perspective by saying: “Hey everyone! I felt compelled to share my thoughts and experiences about something that occurred in my life. Here I am, speaking in my own words.
I have a sense of responsibility towards my followers, and I also feel that I owe it to myself. I believe it is time to find resolution regarding this issue, as it has been some years now, and I am eager to progress and move forward.
She continued: “In 2020, I found myself in Dubai. I was captured on video – it was undeniably me in the recording, not under duress – at that time in my life, I can confidently say that self-love was lacking, likely. This is evident in how I treated my body and the company I kept.
Later on, the video was leaked. More recently, I found myself traveling to Thailand, as Kaz elaborated.
‘I received a fantastic job opportunity! I was thrilled about this job prospect, as it seemed like my ideal role. However, in the excitement, I hadn’t considered the commuting challenges in Abu Dhabi, which ultimately turned out to be an issue for me. Looking back now, it seems that everything works out for a reason.’
Over those fateful days, I found myself under arrest in Abu Dhabi, held captive from Monday right up until Friday. It wasn’t until that day that my freedom was finally restored.
As a person who takes complete responsibility for my actions, I found myself fully prepared and open to whatever the outcome might be. Regardless of the circumstances, I stand by my words and own up to them. I acknowledged that the video depicted me, and I provided an explanation regarding the situation, which took place long in the past.
In August 2023, Kaz emotionally shared her story with GK Barry on the Saving Grace podcast, revealing that it was her unnamed former partner who leaked the video showing her using white powder.
The television celebrity stated that her former partner, who was quite dominant, reacted angrily and aimed to harm and sabotage her professional success because she chose to move on.
Kaz felt a heavy sense of dismay when her manager called to inform her that a tabloid had obtained a video of hers. She found it hard to breathe and ended up crying hysterically.
Reaching what she believed was her lowest point, she lost all her business partnerships, fell into despair, and stopped venturing outside.

Now, it’s being reported that India has landed in South Africa for filming purposes, as she prepares to make waves once more – this according to The Sun.
