Katy Perry doesn’t listen to her critics. 

When questioned about handling unfavorable feedback, the acclaimed 40-year-old pop sensation, renowned as one of the top-selling musical artists ever, clarified that she chooses to disregard malicious remarks directed at herself.

She shared that her approach is not to read something, whether it’s enjoyable or not, four months following the release of her seventh studio album, titled 143.

The artist behind “The Dark Horse” shared that she typically shies away from uninvited criticism, a change in her approach inspired by a particularly impactful piece of advice from her therapist.

During their therapy session, her therapist conveyed the message that other people’s opinions about her aren’t important. What truly matters is how she perceives herself.

Even though Katy Perry’s most recent album hasn’t matched the commercial success of her past records, she remains proud of it and aspires for it to serve as a soundtrack for people’s lives.

This album was born from a significant change in my life as I transitioned into motherhood. It allowed me to connect deeply with the feminine divine power within me. The themes throughout are uplifting and focused on love.” – Perry explained.

She went on to say: ‘I’ve fashioned an extraordinary identity since COVID, as many things have shifted dramatically. Consequently, the album primarily emphasizes love – a profound, unyielding affection I’ve yearned for throughout my life but never truly recognized before. And yes, it might sound like a stereotype, but in this case, it’s actually my genuine experience.’

Katy recently admitted that motherhood has changed her entire outlook on life.

The popular singer, having a 4-year-old daughter named Daisy with her fiancé Orlando Bloom, experiences the world with a refreshed feeling of “brightness, happiness, and optimism” since becoming a mom.

In 2016, Katy started dating Orlando. Speaking to E! News, she expressed that seeing the holiday season through a child’s perspective is like celebrating Christmas all over again – filled with an abundance of light, joy, and optimism.

In November, Perry announced she would be embarking on tour with her little girl. 

Katy hinted at plans for her Lifetimes Tour to perform at arenas throughout the United Kingdom in 2025, expressing her delight over the welcoming nature of London.

Katy Perry, famously known for singing “I Kissed a Girl,” is set to launch her tour in Mexico next April. Following this, she will travel to Australia, with performances also scheduled across the United Kingdom in October.

Katy will begin performing in London, Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield, and Birmingham, which are all located in England, starting from October 7th of next year.

She’s thrilled that Daisy, who is currently 4 years old, will accompany her on this global journey. By the time they reach their destination, Daisy will be celebrating her fifth birthday. It seems like time is moving incredibly fast. [She shared this with The Sun newspaper.]

The star exclaimed: “Friends of mine who are single and don’t have kids often visit and see my child after a long gap, maybe every six months. They’re always taken aback, saying ‘Wow, she’s grown so much!’ It’s as if time is moving swiftly and relentlessly.

Perry was thrilled to show her around numerous parts of the globe, promising an exciting journey filled with fun for both of them,” Perry added.

Instead, the performer expressed her anticipation for spending time with Daisy at entertaining playgrounds and exciting outdoor activities during her free hours.

She mentioned that British folks really cherish our parks, especially during the summer months in cities like London. We absolutely adore them, as they provide us with a strong sense of comfort and are wonderfully designed to accommodate families.
