As a devoted Katy Perry fan since her breakthrough in 2008, I must say that her latest venture into dance-pop with a celebratory tone, themed around the symbolic 143 numerical expression of love, has me absolutely thrilled! The Lifetimes music video, following the less successful Woman’s World on the charts, has proven to be a breath of fresh air in Perry’s discography.

Katy Perry’s record company has spoken up following allegations that her “Lifetimes” music video was shot on protected sand dunes in the Balearic islands without the necessary permission.

Upon discovering that production may have taken place within the protected region without proper authorization, the government of the Balearic Islands initiated an inquiry into the matter.

Currently, Capitol Records, which is Perry’s label, stated that the production company had assured them that all required permits were secured and they had received verbal consent before shooting, following the discovery that one permit was still pending.

According to a representative from Capitol Records, who spoke to Variety, the local video production company had assured them that all required permits for the video had been obtained. However, it has since been discovered that one permit was still being processed, despite the fact that they were given verbal approval to proceed with filming.

On the 22nd of July, our team submitted an application for a shooting permit at this particular spot to the Directorate-General For Coasts And Coastline. We were given verbal consent on the 26th of July to begin filming on the 27th of July.

We strictly followed all rules applicable to filming here, showing great reverence for this site and the individuals responsible for its preservation.

The Fireworks songstress, 39, filmed the nearly four minute clip on the islands of Ibiza and Formentera.

In the music video, Perry is spotted grooving and crooning alongside companions, first at a lively tropical site, then at a bustling nightclub.

At some point during the video, Perry danced to the music in an area that appeared to be cordoned off, located close to the sea, and surrounded by the team and camera equipment.

According to a statement from the islands’ environmental department, it appears that the filming company responsible didn’t secure or request authorization to shoot in the specified location.

The initial investigation has formally commenced, as the department delves deeper into the potential breach of rules.

The department stated that the music video was not a ‘crime against the environment’ and that shooting ‘can be authorized’ when it is properly requested.

On the Balearic Islands in Spain, according to the Illes Balears Travel website, the dunes of s’Espalmador are exceptionally important from an ecological perspective and represent one of the most pristine areas remaining.

The island of s’Espalmador, along with Ses Illetes, are situated within the Salinas de Santa Pola Nature Reserve, which is a 15,000-hectare natural area dedicated to preserving the southern region of Ibiza and the northern part of Formentera.

Earlier this month, on August 8, the official visuals for Lifetimes were released, drawing comparisons from fans to her 2010 hit single, Teenage Dream.

Her latest single, Woman’s World, saw disappointing results following its launch a month ago in July, as it struggled to make an impact on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The song – which is geared towards woman empowerment – landed the number 63 spot in the first week.

woman’s world didn’t manage to secure high positions in various other rankings either; it reached as high as the 65th spot on the Global 200 chart and the 47th position on the U.K. chart, according to Variety.

On Spotify, the song reached a number 110 spot on the U.S. chart and number 58 on the global list.

According to a source, shortly after Katy’s solo release failed to perform well on music charts, she became quite anxious and held urgent discussions to revive her career resurgence.

Currently, Katy is highly anxious due to the responses Woman’s World has been receiving, as reported by an informant. She seems to be blaming others rather than acknowledging her own role in the situation.

Perry worked together with music producer, Dr. Luke, who has found himself entangled in controversies with artist Kesha following her accusations against him for sexual, physical, and emotional mistreatment.

Katy and Dr. Luke have collaborated before on popular songs like “I Kissed a Girl.” However, it’s been reported that she seemed foolish for considering Dr. Luke a suitable choice.

Rather than immersing myself in crafting intricate pieces, I opted for a composition reminiscent of my 2010 albums.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but feel a tad disappointed when a song about female empowerment is primarily created by men. It seems challenging for Katy Perry, ensconced as she is within her celebrity sphere, to truly empathize with the everyday struggles of women. After all, being a woman in the real world is an entirely different experience compared to living life under the spotlight.

The source added, ‘Instead of harnessing her influence for global change, she’s leveraging it for financial gain.’

After it came out, Woman’s World was met with severe backlash and criticized heavily, being labeled as a ‘major disaster.’

Perry swiftly stood up for her Women’s World music video, clarifying that it was designed to be a mix of ‘comical’ and ‘satirical.’

As she posted on Instagram, she offered a peek at the set during filming, and commented, ‘We’re mostly just enjoying ourselves, adding a touch of sarcasm. It’s quite silly and very straightforward.’

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’d say, “This collection isn’t merely catering to the male gaze; rather, it’s an explicit celebration of it. Yet, we should remember that subtlety is key in design, and overemphasis can detract from its true essence.”

On the forthcoming album, mine own creation titled “143,” you’ll discover a blend of women’s experiences and life stories. This treasure awaits you on September 20th, coming your way just next month.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share some insights about my latest album. Instead of just releasing any music, I aimed to craft an energetic, vibrant, and joyful dance-pop masterpiece. The underlying theme that ties it all together is the heartfelt expression of love symbolized by the number sequence 143.

Meanwhile, concentrating on the LP’s release following Woman’s World’s underperformance on the charts, Perry seems to have landed a role in the latest investigative drama, having shot the Lifetime music video.

However, although the music video at first appeared without issue, it was the song itself that garnered more acclaim from fans following the release of Woman’s World.

One social media user jumped to X, formerly known as Twitter, and typed, ‘Okay but wow the Lifetimes music video to me is giving the Teenage Dream music video but all matured and with wealth now.’

In my own words, I would express it as: “I recently read, ‘Katy Perry is back,’ which has me excited. A fellow enthusiast exclaimed, ‘#LIFETIMES Music Video surpasses Woman’s World for me. The beauty of this video was beyond what I anticipated; it was simply remarkable.”

1. “Someone said that Katy Perry will once again shake the world! They find ‘Lifetimes’ to be an incredible hit.”

The track itself was inspired by her daughter, Daisy, three – whom she shares with Orlando Bloom.

In an appearance on BBC’s The One Show, Perry shared that ‘Lifetimes’ is a composition he penned, moved by his child.

Every night before she retires, I express my love for her by saying “I love you.” Recently, I’ve added a special question, “Will we be together in every lifetime?” To which she always replies with a heartwarming “Yes.”

She reminisced about the delightful fact that they had traveled extensively across Europe during the summer, visited numerous beaches, and purchased a large quantity of chocolate coins resembling gold.

“While constructing sandcastles, I secretly keep them hidden from her view until she discovers them, which brings her joy similar to finding hidden chocolate coins.”

In an enthusiastic tone, I exclaimed, “Remember when I asked, ‘Won’t you seek me out in every reincarnation?’ To which she replied, ‘Indeed, and we’ll hunt for hidden chocolate treasures side by side!'”
