Katy Perry’s Cosmic Destiny: Signs Point to All-Female Space Mission

It seems that any concerns Katy Perry might have had regarding her space trip with Blue Origin tomorrow have been alleviated, thanks to some kind of heavenly guidance or intervention.

The Firecracker singer, 40, was brought up in a religious family and still looks for signs.

She’s found two that tell her she’s meant to be on the historic all-female mission to space.

Katy titled her brief clip, ‘A nudge today that there’s a greater force steering my path. With affection, Feather/Tortoise.’

The former American Idol judge mentioned that he frequently seeks subtle signs or messages from above, be it from his spiritual guides, angels, or his higher consciousness.

‘You know when I ask for it and I am open to it, it’s pretty loud,’ she explained.

In her own words, she said, “When I received the invitation for this journey, I noticed that the capsule had a feather-shaped outline etched on its front.

She remarked, “When I realized it was a clear affirmation, as my mother has always referred to me as ‘Feather’,” she stated.

Katy Perry, known for her song “I Kissed a Girl,” later revealed that she was undergoing space training when she received another eerie message.

She explained that there’s much information to process and we’re nearly wrapping up for the day. Then, they presented the capsule – one they’d simulated other tasks in a different capsule, hinting at their diverse training methods.

She announced the capsule’s name and it’s called Tortoise, she remarked, gazing skeptically at the camera.

She exclaimed, “With a surge of energy, a wave swept through me, leaving me puzzled that the capsule they call Tortoise could deliver such a powerful pulse.

‘My mom affectionately refers to me by two names: Feather and Tortoise. Could it be possible that I might travel into space aboard a rocket in a capsule, with the emblem of the Tortoise being the feather?’

She mentioned, “‘By the way, my mother often calls me ‘Tortoise’. I’ll save her texts as screenshots whenever she does.’

She finished by saying, ‘Everything isn’t a mere coincidence, and I’m deeply thankful for these reassurances. It’s as if something greater than myself is guiding our course.’

The star will join an extraordinary 11-minute space voyage, accompanied by Jeff Bezos’ partner Lauren, journalist Gayle King, activist Amanda Nguyen, former rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, and filmmaker Kerianne Flynn. This journey is planned to be the first all-female space excursion since 1963.

The upcoming launch is associated with Blue Origin’s New Shepherd project and is scheduled for April 14th in western Texas. Notably, the space suits to be used are personally designed by Lauren.

On Sunday, Katy posted photos from the launch on Instagram with the caption: “Celebrating the International Day of Human Space Flight! Always amazed by the mysteries of the cosmos.

She exuded confidence while wearing a jumpsuit in shades of blue, adorned with the word ‘Perry’, and bearing the phrase ‘Blue Origin’ on its sleeve.

This week, Lauren shared with The New York Times her concept of reinventing the traditional flight suit, stating that “Originally, these suits were designed for men. Now, we adjust them to fit a woman.

She added: ‘I think the suits are elegant but they also bring a little spice to space.’

Approximately five months back, Lauren connected with Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim, both co-founders of the Monse label and creative directors at Oscar de la Renta, who designed her dress for the 2024 Met Gala event.

They agreed to help her with the space suit designs.

During the interview, Fernando mentioned that they once discussed what type of undergarments Lauren would choose. To this question, Lauren simply replied: “Skims!” (implying that she prefers the brand Skims for her undergarments)

At the conclusion of the interview, Lauren shared a quote from Katy that she found amusing: “Katy told me, ‘We’re adding a bit of ‘spunk’ to space travel!’
