Katy Perry reignites split rumors with Orlando Bloom by renting out $30M Montecito home to A-list actor

According to DailyMail.com’s exclusive report, it appears that Katy Perry may have ended her relationship with Orlando Bloom, as she has discreetly leased the house that they had planned to raise their daughter in.

40-year-old Adele, known for her hit song “Firework,” faced negative media attention, spent a significant amount on lawyers, and eventually won a court battle to acquire a 30 million dollar property in Montecito, California, after the previous owner was deemed unfit.

Ever since I triumphantly vanquished my decades-long struggle alongside the venerable Carl Westcott, it seems that Perry has bestowed upon Chris Pratt the coveted role, leaving me pondering the current status of her bond with Bloom, a man now well into his mid-forties.

According to sources, DailyMail.com reports that Pratt, aged 46, and his wife, author Katherine Schwarzenegger, 35, have recently relocated to a large property nestled in the Santa Ynez Mountain foothills.

Luxury rental homes, situated within an exclusive neighborhood where celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Gwyneth Paltrow, Prince Harry, and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex reside, can command rents up to a staggering $120,000 per month.

However, the member of the Guardians of the Galaxy required a short-term dwelling for his wife and their children – Lyla (age 4), Eloise (age 3), and seven-month-old Ford – as they construct a new residence in LA’s Brentwood area.

A source shared with DailyMail.com that the layout works well for Chris, although it’s unexpected considering Katy worked tirelessly to secure the house for herself.

Initially, she thought it was the perfect location for them both to establish a home and nurture a family. Given all the efforts, resources invested over time, it’s hard to imagine they won’t reside there instead.

According to some sources, Perry plans to reside in the house after the temporary lease concludes. However, her representative chose not to provide a statement about this matter.

Perry’s sudden change of heart occurs as whispers circulate suggesting that she and Lord of the Rings actor Orlando Bloom, who share a four-year-old daughter named Daisy Dove Bloom, may be ending their six-year engagement.

Based on recent reports, it seems that difficulties in Perry’s struggling pop career may be affecting her private life as well.

Critics and fans alike have criticized her recent album, titled 143, for being unoriginal and bland, even going so far as to label it her most disappointing album yet.

According to various reports, there were heated disagreements between her and Bloom regarding her controversial 11-minute space journey on Blue Origin in April.

The flight turned into a public relations catastrophe as Perry’s over-the-top behaviors, such as presenting a daisy during weightlessness (symbolizing her daughter) and dramatically smooching the ground upon landing, drew ridicule.

Based on our findings, she encountered minimal or no backing from Bloom, who publicly criticized the ‘humiliating’ incident during a heated argument, as per our reports.

‘He told her the whole thing looked ridiculous,’ a source in Perry’s camp told DailyMail.com.

Perry and Orlando crossed paths at a Golden Globe Awards post-event gathering back in 2016. After separating for approximately a year, they rekindled their relationship and got engaged on February 14th, 2019. Their daughter, Daisy Dove, arrived on August 26, 2020.

The vocalist was already the owner of several properties in Los Angeles, yet she appeared determined to transform Westcott’s eight-bedroom, Mediterranean-style villa into her dream residence for her entire family.

In July 2020, she reached a $15 million agreement to purchase it. Her delight was palpable, and she penned a letter to the retired business tycoon later on, sharing her happiness about now considering it as part of our property.

I’m thrilled to share that my spouse and I anticipate welcoming our newborn into the world next month, and I can’t help but feel that our home is the ideal nurturing environment for her to grow up in.

Although we found other properties appealing, yours stands out for offering the reassurance of security, seclusion, and safety.

The touching note – bearing the signatures of both Katy and Orlando – stated: ‘This house will serve as a sanctuary, providing us with a peaceful space where our family can flourish and strengthen our bond.’

In simpler terms, Westcott, who served in the military and has Huntington’s Disease, attempted to cancel the agreement later on, asserting that his decision had been influenced by strong medication and poor health at the time he put his signature on the documents, which strained the relationship.

In the subsequent court case, his attorneys contended that due to his advanced age, ongoing issues with his spine, a recent operation, and frequent use of painkillers, Mr. Westcott was no longer mentally capable.

Three years following an exhausting, expensive legal dispute that generated many unfavorable news reports, Perry eventually received the deed to the house.

To this very moment, the Los Angeles County Superior Court has yet to settle several legal disputes regarding the amount of compensation that Westcott should pay, with the music producer insisting on a sum of $6 million for alleged unpaid rental income and damages.

It is said that she assembled a group of 25 diverse specialists with the aim of finding flaws to help negotiate a lower final price of around $9 million.

Two months ago, Westcott bought the house, and then, in subsequent negotiations with Bernie Gudvi, Perry’s representative, he agreed to receive an additional $3,750,000 above the $11.25 million he originally paid for the property.

Four days ago, the 80-year-old – an esteemed US Army 101st Airborne veteran and owner of various thriving businesses, particularly 1-800-Flowers – was released from the hospital.

This way, I’ve tried to make it sound more conversational while maintaining the original meaning.

After having surgery on his back that lasted for six hours, he was given a strong mix of painkillers by his attorneys’ assertion, to help manage the discomfort.

Once the effect of the medicine subsided, Westcott realized his error and emailed Berkshire Hathaway to let them know he was no longer planning on going through with the sale.

Perry and Bloom’s representatives firmly declined Westcott’s request, advising that legal action would be taken if he failed to vacate the luxurious 1930s mansion, complete with a swimming pool, tennis court, and guest house.

It wasn’t the first time Perry had been entangled in legal problems while purchasing a home.

In the year 2015, she had a disagreement with elderly Roman Catholic nuns regarding a convent that she purchased for $14.5 million in cold cash, directly from Los Angeles Archbishop Jose Gomez.

Sister Rita Callanan and Sister Catherine Rose Holzman, longtime residents dating back to the 70s, asserted that Gomez was not entitled to transfer the property. They added that they had previously sold the property for approximately $15.5 million a few weeks prior.

As a devoted follower, I can’t help but share the news that I, along with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, have been vindicated in our stance. It seems the nuns overstepped their bounds, and a wise judge recognized this. The judgment was in our favor, granting us joint damages totaling over $15 million. A truly momentous victory for justice!

2018 saw the court case gain widespread attention following the unfortunate incident where Sister Holzman, aged 89, suffered a collapse and passed away during her court hearing.

Sister Callanan, the surviving nun, said Perry had ‘blood on her hands.’
