Katy Perry seemingly revealed her relationship with Justin Trudeau by sharing a post on Instagram Tuesday for her 41st birthday.

The singer behind the hit song ‘Dark Horse,’ currently on her worldwide Lifetimes Tour, posted photos and videos celebrating her birthday.

Katy Perry and the former Canadian Prime Minister, age 53, were first rumored to be dating in July. They recently confirmed their relationship with a public appearance in Paris this past weekend.

The performer, who celebrated her 41st birthday on October 25th, shared a video clip of herself blowing out candles on a cake with frosting.

She was behind the scenes during a concert on her tour, surrounded by her dancers and the people helping with the show, when this happened.

As she finished blowing out the candles on her cake, Justin Trudeau could be seen in the distance, smiling and applauding the singer.

Perry playfully tried to throw the cake to a member of her team, but she missed, and the whole cake landed with a splat on the floor.

After the cake was ruined, some of her dancers and crew members were seen picking up pieces from the floor and eating them.

The moment drew criticism on social media, with some users labeling Perry as both selfish and wasteful.

Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau were first seen together in July, having dinner in Montreal while Perry was on the Canadian portion of her Lifetimes Tour, which is scheduled to end in December.

It comes shortly after it was revealed in June that the singer split from fiance Orlando Bloom.
