Katy Perry makes HUGE announcement after her blockbuster AFL Grand Final performance

As a lifestyle expert with a rich background in the music industry and having traveled extensively across the globe, I can confidently say that Katy Perry’s latest move to expand her 2025 Australian Lifetimes tour is a brilliant decision. The enthusiasm and love for the pop sensation Down Under are truly remarkable, and it’s evident that her performances are eagerly anticipated.

The affection Australians have for Katy Perry continues unabated after her extraordinary showcase during the recent AFL Grand Final held in Melbourne.

As a frenzied admirer, I couldn’t help but leap with joy when the sensational Roar hitmaker, aged 39, unveiled additional performances for her grandiose 2025 Australian Lifetimes tour on social media, Thursday being the special day!

On Instagram, the American popstar posted a fresh version of her Down Under tour schedule. In this updated plan, she’s added three additional shows – Perth, Adelaide, and Melbourne are the fortunate cities that will get an extra serving of the Teenage Dream sensation.

Originally, the tour only featured a single performance in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth. However, she recently announced additional shows in Sydney and Brisbane for this week.

After copping some backlash from Adelaide fans, Katy then added a show in the City of Churches.

Such was the demand for Katy in Adelaide, the singer was prompted to add two extra shows.

After they sold out, Katy added a fourth Adelaide date in the latest announcement.

Katy said that the new dates would be the final added to her anticipated 2025 tour.

‘I love you for life, Oz,’ Katy wrote.

As it turns out, our sentiments are reciprocated! It seems that the gracious residents of Adelaide have been just as swift in expressing their gratitude towards me for showering their city with a whole lot of pop affection.

‘Adelaide will legit never forget this we love YOU for lifetimes,’ one fan excitedly quipped.

Adding to the sentiment, another fan chimed in with: ‘Hopefully this shows other artists that Adelaide IS A PLACE TO TOUR.’

Considering Katy’s strong affection for Australia, one supporter proposed that she might as well take the plunge and permanently relocate to Australia.

‘Babe you may as well live here at this point,’ they wrote. ‘We love you.’

Katy Perry’s Lifetimes tour begins on June 9th and 10th at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney. After that, it will travel to Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on June 12th, 13th, and 14th.

She’s scheduled to perform at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on both June 17th and 18th, followed by the RAC Arena in Perth on the 22nd and 23rd of June.

The tour concludes with a four-day engagement at the Adelaide Entertainment Center, running from June 26th to June 30th.

The announcement follows the impressive performance by Katy at the AFL Grand Final show held at the MCG in Melbourne on Saturday, leaving the crowd amazed.

She was reportedly paid a staggering $5million to put on a pre-game performance at the final.

During her 20-minute performance, she showcased not one but two songs from her recently released album titled 143, namely Lifetimes and Gorgeous (the joint effort with Kim Petras). This was possible despite the rumors that suggested she could only perform a single new song due to AFL management restrictions.

As an ardent fan, I can’t help but gush about the electrifying concert experience! The new tracks were certainly a treat, but it was the familiar tunes that truly ignited the crowd. Katy Perry began with a powerful performance of Roar, then moved on to her chart-topping hits like Teenage Dreams, Dark Horse, and Firework, sending the audience into an energetic frenzy!

Besides performing I Kissed A Girl together, Katy and Tina Arena additionally sang a version of Tina’s famous hit Chains.

However, her playlist took fans by surprise when she didn’t perform Hot n Cold, a song often associated with MasterChef Australia and humorously considered by some as Australia’s unofficial national anthem.
