Oh, my dear Katy Perry! The woman who once danced in a sparkling, giant cherry, now finding herself in an awkward pickle with Scott Mills. I’ve been following her journey since the “I Kissed A Girl” days, and I must say, she’s always kept us entertained!

Katy Perry made an awkward gaffe during an interview with  BBC Radio 2 DJ Scott Mills on Tuesday.

The 39-year-old artist was chatting with the 51-year-old radio host, recalling their past meeting which happened over a decade ago.

As I reflect on the past decade, I find myself marveling at how dramatically things have shifted – particularly my life as a mother to my precious four-year-old Daisy Dove. Most recently, I’ve experienced another significant change that I’m excited to share: I’ve tied the knot!

Following Scott’s announcement, Katy inquired about the identity of the open-minded host, assuming since he was married to a woman that his name might not be familiar to her. However, the DJ quickly and awkwardly set the record straight. (This version maintains the original meaning but rephrases it for easier reading.)

It’s high time we reconnected, Scott. While we managed to have a virtual chat during those pandemic days, I must admit it’s been around a decade since we last met face-to-face. Let’s plan a get-together soon!

Prior to Katy expressing that much has happened, she currently finds herself with a full-fledged child whom she is accountable for and nurturing.

After that, Scott revealed to the musician that he was getting married, and Katy responded cheerfully by asking: ‘Great! Who is she?’

After that, Scott uneasily amended her statement, but she unintentionally deepened the situation by replying, “Oh, indeed, quite a bit has evolved over the past decade!”

Subsequently, Scott affirmed, “Yes, that’s correct. His name is Sam.” Afterwards, the musician applauded him.

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but share the delightful news! In a heartwarming ceremony held in Barcelona on June 2, my beloved radio host and his partner, Sam Vaughn, aged 35, exchanged vows after their beautiful journey together began back in 2017. What an enchanting couple they make!

At a heartfelt event, Pixie Lott sang ‘How Long Will I Love You’ as the couple exchanged their promises, and meanwhile, Calum Scott performed his popular tune ‘You Are The Reason’.

Scott and Sam exchanged their vows amidst their closest loved ones, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of Spain.

As an ardent admirer, I couldn’t help but notice the strikingly handsome pair, both resplendent in sleek black tuxedos, perfectly coordinated with black-framed shades that added a touch of mystery to their dashing appearance.

The contented pair gleefully chuckled while exchanging their vows, leaving the attendees astonished by an enchanting rainbow spectacle that followed their first kiss, symbolizing the completion of their union.

After overcoming the awkward moment, they promptly transitioned the conversation towards discussing motherhood during the interview.

Katy described being a mother as ‘the best decision I ever made,’.

She admitted being an older mother yet expressed contentment about choosing her own path and timing: “I’m overjoyed that I could become a mom on my terms, at 36, and even earlier at 35. I had already accomplished so much by then, and I intentionally planned to welcome her into the world. I prepared extensively beforehand, and she is truly my gift, my source of joy.”

Lately, Katy has been traveling across the United Kingdom for the promotion of her newest album titled “143”. She’s just announced that “Lifetimes” will be the next single from her upcoming venture.

On a Monday morning, the famous pop singer shared with her 206 million Instagram fans: “Pre-save my new song and video ‘LIFETIMES’ on August 9 by visiting this link: katy.to/LIFETIMES.”

On a recent post, the artist behind “The Last Friday Night” revealed that the song was sparked by her and partner Orlando Bloom’s little girl, Daisy, who will celebrate her fourth birthday on August 20th.

It comes less than one month after her comeback single Woman’s World failed to impress fans.

Katy revealed how her daughter inspired her upcoming song in an appearance on The One Show.

She said that the idea for the tune stemmed from a sweet exchange between her and the tot.

The mother, filled with pride, shared, “A composition titled ‘Lifetimes’ was penned by me, inspired by my child. Naturally, I tell her ‘I love you’ each night before she sleeps, but lately I’ve been telling her, ‘Will we find each other in every life?’ To which she always replies, ‘Yes.'”
