Since the onset of the legal proceedings, his family has taken over managing his legal affairs because he has been unable to think clearly, a condition that started during the lawsuit.

Sadly, at 85 years old and confined to bed due to Huntington’s disease, he found himself in a lengthy legal conflict with Ms. Perry regarding his property in Montecito, yet due to his condition, he couldn’t fully express his side of the story.

Mr. Westcott continues by detailing the protracted court case, adding that the next trial is set for February 25th.

In the face of our father’s deteriorating health, my brother and I are battling to uphold his legacy, both personally and as a veteran. However, this ongoing legal dispute has unfortunately caused significant distress within our family. To clarify, my brother Court, who is married to Kameron Westcott from The Real Housewives of Dallas, is also part of this ordeal.

It seems unusual or inconsistent to showcase Ms. Perry at the Invictus Games, given that the event is primarily intended to recognize and respect the efforts and sacrifices made by veterans.

Although Miss Perry’s actions might appear as a show of support for veterans, they paint a contrasting picture when we consider her persistent legal chasing after our father – a narrative that significantly challenges the principles the Games uphold.

Chart expressed that it appeared as though he was uninformed about the event and Katy’s behavior, as well as her apparent absence of empathy towards their family and his father.

“She doesn’t seem interested in disabled veterans, let alone those who participate in the Invictus Games. Given that Harry is a veteran and values this connection, I would expect him not to associate himself or the games with anyone or anything that hasn’t supported the veterans community in the past.

By May, Perry had taken ownership of a $15 million property following her receiving the right to the Montecito estate.

She legally transferred the title of the property from Westcott, now being its rightful owner. At present, she’s busy with renovations as she aims to recover $6 million in repair costs and lost earnings.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: Every day, I find myself grappling with the emotional weight of our ongoing real estate struggle. It’s like an invisible giant in the room, casting a shadow over everything. The stress has been relentless…It’s heartrending. That house was where my family member, Carl, envisioned spending his last days, and him being unable to remain there has significantly affected his wellbeing, contributing greatly to his current state.

In 2020, ailing Westcott consented to sell his residence, which has eight bedrooms, to Perry for $15 million. However, just a few days later, he attempted to cancel the agreement, stating that he had been under the influence of painkillers when he signed it.

In 2023, it was legally established that Perry owned the elegant 1930s estate, complete with a tennis court, two guest houses, and a swimming pool, as per a court decision that had previously validated the contract.

Adele is attempting to reduce the sale price by approximately $6 million, arguing that the elderly owner, who is bedridden, has outstanding bills for repairs and missed rental earnings due to property maintenance and vacancy.
