Katy Perry gets STUCK in flying metal sphere and nearly falls out mid-air… after crying amid Orlando Bloom split
During her current Lifetimes world tour, Katy Perry experienced an unexpected issue with the stage setup at her recent concert in Australia, which fortunately she managed to navigate safely past a potential catastrophe.
On a Sunday evening, while singing in Adelaide, the performer found herself suspended in a metallic globe that appeared to be part of the stage setup. However, it seemed as if something went wrong with this prop, causing her to remain aloft.
Later, the hovering sphere seemed to lean, much like in videos fans shared on platform X. It seemed as if she was hastily grasping to keep her balance and prevent herself from being swept into the throng by it.
For a few prolonged moments, Perry clung to one of the bars, following which the team abruptly halted both the illumination and the music, hurrying over to assist her.
In that situation, the popular singer was swiftly released from the prop and rescued – prior to becoming emotional on stage later – yet numerous fans shared their fear for her on social media during that tense instant.
Similarly, numerous spectators compared this incident to a recent event involving Beyoncé, where the vehicle she was riding on unexpectedly came to a halt and tilted during her performance for the ongoing Renaissance (Cowboy) Tour, causing her to momentarily pause her show.

I was really scared 😢

Presently, Perry is engaged in her Lifetime Tour, delivering a string of performances in Australia. Regrettably, this tour schedule prevented her from attending her dear friend Lauren Sanchez’s wedding to Jeff Bezos, the Amazon mogul, which took place in Venice last weekend.
Over the weekend, Orlando Bloom, who is single now following their separation, participated in the multi-day celebrations on his own. Meanwhile, Katy Perry was in Australia with their four-year-old daughter Daisy.
Back in April, I was thrilled to kickstart my tour journey in the vibrant city of Mexico! Now, as the year comes to a close, I can hardly contain my excitement as I’ll be wrapping up this incredible tour in the captivating Abu Dhabi on December 7th.
The Lifetimes tour is a concert series backing up her seventh studio album titled “143”, marking her return to headlining stadium tours after a gap of seven years, since her last tour in the year 2018.
During her performance in Australia, Perry appeared close to tears on stage as she expressed gratitude to her fans for their support after her separation from Bloom.
For nine years, she and the actor were a couple, but news of their separation became public knowledge only last month.
In the heart of my dedication, standing before the crowd on the last night of Perry’s Australian segment in her Lifetimes world tour, I struggled to hold back the welling tears as the curtain fell on the performance.
In a video shared on X, she created a heart shape with her hands, followed by an emotional attempt to suppress tears while addressing the audience at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

‘Thank you Australia for always being there for me,’ she said.
Later on, Bloom posted a sequence of mysterious Instagram messages, which included a quote from Gautama Buddha that was seen by his 7 million followers, not long after this.
The quote Bloom shared said: ‘Every day offers a fresh start. It’s the actions we take today that hold the greatest importance.’
Moreover, he also presented an individual slide containing another quote from Daisaku Ikema titled ‘Inspirational Thought for Daily Living.’
What truly matters is making that initial move. Conquering a tiny apprehension bravely will empower you to face the next challenge head-on.
Last week, it was revealed that the former couple called it quits after nearly a decade together.
Initially, a source shared with Us Weekly that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have parted ways, but they remain friendly towards each other. Moreover, the source mentioned that their separation has not caused any significant disputes so far.
Katy certainly feels distressed, yet she’s grateful for avoiding another divorce, an experience she considers the toughest time in her life.
The artist famous for the song “Teenage Dream” (who’s now touring as part of the Lifetimes Tour) was formerly wedded to Russell Brand from 2010 up until their separation and subsequent divorce in 2012.
It was mentioned by the source that the breakup, as reported, was something that had been “inevitable for some time” and that they had experienced “strain in their union for quite a while.
