Katy Perry adds more shows to her Australian Lifetimes tour just hours ahead of her AFL Grand Final gig… but not all fans are impressed

As a dedicated Katy Perry fan who has followed her journey since the days of “I Kissed A Girl”, I must say I am overjoyed with the announcement of additional shows for her 2025 Australian Lifetimes tour! The thought of seeing her perform live again, especially in such close proximity, is simply too exciting to bear. However, my heart goes out to fellow Adelaide fans who are left in the lurch. It’s as if we’re stuck in a “Hot N Cold” relationship with Katy, one moment she’s here, the next she’s… well, not here.

As I eagerly count down the hours to Katy Perry’s sensational AFL Grand Final show, she’s added even more excitement to my calendar – extending her 2025 Australian Lifetimes Tour with additional performances! Can’t wait to see what’s in store!

The Teenage Dream hitmaker has doubled down on Down Under, adding two more dates to the itinerary.

Originally, there was only one performance scheduled in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth for the artist, but now, due to popular demand, the American popstar will perform an additional two concerts in Sydney and Brisbane.

On a typically bustling Friday, I proudly unveiled some exciting updates via my Instagram channel – a captivating snapshot of an expanded concert tour schedule, as symbolized by the freshly-inked tour poster adorning my post.

‘Adding TWO MORE SHOWS to today’s Lifetimes Tour presale,’ Katy captioned the post.

‘I am overwhelmed with LOVE today and SO excited for the show we have for you.’

While the news was welcomed by Katy’s legion of Aussie fans, some were left a little disappointed.

2025 tour schedule for Katy won’t include a performance in Adelaide, disappointing her local supporters who follow The Roar.

‘You still forgot about Adelaide,’ one crestfallen fan reminded the mega star.

Another chimed in with a simple: ‘Adelaide people?’

One fan suggested to another heartbroken Teenage Dreamer to spend money on pop icon Kylie Minogue, who is bringing her Tensions tour to Adelaide in February.

‘Better to go see Kylie,’ they wrote. ‘She’s in Adelaide.’

One hopeful fan still had their fingers crossed that more shows would be added to the tour.

‘Slay queen! But we need the rest of the dates please,’ they said.

Katy announced her 2025 Lifetimes tour on Wednesday.

She enthusiastically shared that she’s excited to unveil The Lifetimes tour, and she’ll start by releasing the dates in Australia, as she mentioned on Sunrise.

It’s been quite some time, but I’ve been eagerly preparing myself for it. Expect an upbeat, crowd-participated performance filled with familiar tunes and some new surprises!

It’s rumored that Katy Perry will receive an impressive $5 million for her anticipated pre-game show at the AFL Grand Final in Melbourne this coming Saturday.

I’m fortunate enough to be earning a substantial sum for performing five songs to an enthusiastic audience of 100,000 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) prior to Sydney’s match against Brisbane, as mentioned in The Herald Sun.

The large amount is rumored to have conditions – she’s required to play a mix of popular old tunes instead of tracks from her latest 143 album.

Katy Perry’s Lifetimes concert series begins on June 9 at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, followed by performances at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on June 12 and 13.

On June 17 and 18, she’ll perform at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, followed by a show at the RAC Arena in Perth on June 22.
