The international girl group KATSEYE will soon release and perform the official anthem for the 2025 VALORANT Game Changers Championship.

This year’s VALORANT Game Changers Championship will feature a new anthem performed by the global girl group KATSEYE. A music video for the anthem is coming out soon, and here’s a rundown of everything you need to know about KATSEYE’s involvement.

KATSEYE’s M.I.A. for VALORANT 2025 Game Changers Championship

The band’s song “M.I.A.” has been remixed for the VALORANT Game Changers event. The official cinematic and theme song for the 2025 VALORANT Game Changers Championship will be released on November 11th at 6:00 AM PST. You can save it to your library before then!

Although the complete version isn’t available yet, we got a sneak peek thanks to a short clip shared on KATSEYE’s official social media.

KATSEYE was created in 2023 through Dream Academy, a competitive program featuring intense training inspired by the K-pop system. The group consists of Sophia Laforteza, Lara Rajagopalan, Yoonchae Jeung, Megan Skiendiel, Manon Bannerman, and Daniela Avanzini – members from diverse national and ethnic backgrounds. This variety defines KATSEYE as a globally-focused girl group, even while embracing K-pop elements.

M.I.A. collaborated on KATSEYE’s EP, ‘Beautiful Chaos,’ which came out in June. The EP featured their song ‘Gnarly,’ marking the first time the group appeared on the Billboard Top 100 chart.

Because the group’s song “Gameboy” included references to video games, some fans – known as “Eyekons” – began to speculate about a possible partnership with VALORANT.

This Nostradamus moment was acknowledged by VALORANT, saying, “manifesting really works.”

For the first time since 2022, the VALORANT Game Changers Championship will feature both a cinematic trailer and a dedicated anthem. Back in 2022, the event was accompanied by the trailer ‘SEIZE THE PLAY’ and the official anthem “ALL EYES ON ME” featuring Jean Deaux & Whipped Cream.

As a huge fan, I loved the cinematics they released in 2023 and 2024! They called them ‘hype films,’ which is perfect, and they always had a really energetic soundtrack. In 2023, they used an original score created by Karel Psota, which was amazing. Then in 2024, they switched things up and featured Yonaka’s song ‘PREDATOR’ – it fit the vibe perfectly!
