Sources say Katie Price’s son, Junior, is frustrated with his mother’s ongoing public issues and wants to distance himself from them, especially following her recent marriage to Lee Andrews.
Fans were surprised last week when 47-year-old Katie Price married Lee, just days after getting engaged and only a week after ending her relationship with JJ Slater.
Katie’s family was reportedly devastated by her sudden wedding in Dubai, as she had only met her husband, a businessman, a few days prior.
Katie’s son, 20-year-old Junior, is said to be having a hard time with the wedding news and hasn’t been active on social media since it broke.
Junior is reportedly frustrated with his mother’s chaotic lifestyle and doesn’t want to acknowledge someone he’s never met.
A source told The Sun: ‘He is so fed up with his mum’s constant dramas. He wants no part in it.
‘He’s hardly going to send a congratulations message about a bloke he hasn’t even met.’
The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Junior for comment.
The reality star revealed they were engaged and shared a surprising detail: they actually purchased their wedding rings – a diamond Cartier band for her – before they even met each other.
She explained to The Sun that she and Lee connected in an unusual way – they both started looking at each other’s social media and immediately felt a connection. They then began talking, and quickly realized they were a good match, in a very traditional sense.
Our connection quickly deepened—within days, we were getting matching tattoos and then decided to buy each other rings.
We fell in love without even meeting, letting chance—or maybe fate—bring us together. I’m incredibly happy with my partner, and they feel the same way. Our connection is something truly special, beyond words.
The TV personality added that Lee ‘has the best version’ of herself.
However, an insider close to the family has claimed they are ‘completely horrified’ by the news.
Katie’s mother, Amy, and her five children weren’t told anything about the wedding. They had no idea it was happening.
Kate’s family were completely shocked to learn of her engagement. They were especially surprised because it happened so quickly after she arrived in Dubai – almost immediately upon her arrival, in fact.
It’s even more surprising that she married him the very next day. Nobody seems to know anything about this man, Lee.
On Friday, she surprised her fans by announcing she’s engaged, and playfully called her fiancé her ‘real-life Richard Gere’.
The reality TV personality posted several photos of herself standing in front of a large display of red roses that formed the message ‘will you marry me?’
Katie shared a glimpse of her partner’s new tattoo – her name – and announced they were celebrating with champagne, strawberries, and chocolate cake.
I’ve been following Lee for years, and it’s amazing to see how he’s built a life for himself in Dubai – he’s been there for over two decades! He really shares everything, giving us a glimpse into his exciting and luxurious lifestyle through his social media. It’s fascinating to watch!
His Instagram profile says he’s the CEO of Aura Group Future Urban Travel 2027 and also invests in both Space X and Hybrid Fitness.
He’s been married twice and says he’s worth millions. Interestingly, he recently called his former personal trainer and ex-wife “the perfect woman,” just a year and a half ago.
Before proposing to Katie – who would become his ninth fiancée – Lee was married to Dina Taji, a 41-year-old health and fitness coach. He met Dina in Dubai in early 2020 while they were both at the gym. Dina was born in Palestine and raised in Qatar.
Just over a year and a half ago, he publicly praised Dina Taji, posting photos of them together and writing about how important it is to cherish the person you share your life with. He expressed deep respect and affection for her, calling her ‘sacred’.
