Katie Price’s husband, Lee Andrews, has revealed he edits his photos because fans were surprised by pictures showing his natural appearance.
The 43-year-old businessman, who recently married Katie, 47, in Dubai, often edits his photos before posting them on social media.
A recent photo on his Facebook page looks drastically different from the same picture published in an article two years ago, making him almost unrecognizable.
The photo shows Lee with a noticeably darker beard and a healthy tan, highlighting a sharper jawline.
Other edited photos depict the entrepreneur with noticeably bright, white teeth, which differs sharply from the more natural-looking smile in his LinkedIn profile pictures.
I’ve been getting a lot of questions about why I use filters on my social media, so I wanted to address it. I actually shared my thoughts in a video I filmed on my wedding day with Katie – I just posted it yesterday. Basically, I wanted to be open about my reasons and explain how I approach sharing my life online.
He explained his use of photo filters by saying the lighting wasn’t good, and that he’d added a filter because the day was dull.
Katie surprised everyone by marrying Lee so quickly – just days after getting engaged and only a week after ending her relationship with JJ Slater.
Lee proposed in the same way, at the same location in the Burj Al Arab, as he had with his ex-girlfriend, Alana Percival, just four months earlier.
He proposed in September, recreating the same romantic scene as Katie’s engagement at the Jumeirah Burj Al Arab.
Alana has kept making fun of his engagement online, and on Thursday she posted pictures of the exact same proposal on Instagram.
‘My version… couldn’t get more identical’, she wrote.
Alana says she has evidence that Lee is dishonest and has warned others to avoid him, claiming he’s a fraud.
She took to Instagram on Wednesday with a warning to Katie that her new man is not what he seems.
She posted: ‘Women support each other. I used to doubt it, but I’ve now experienced it firsthand… if you need evidence, it’s out there…’ and also mentioned Katie in the post.
Alana posted a beach photo in a bikini with a playful message about focusing on travel and fun instead of relationships. She tagged Katie Price, suggesting someone might be repeating past mistakes, and hinted at more news to come, calling the current update just a preview.
‘You guys wanted to know what he is all about? Well let me start to tell you …#runforthehills’.
I started following Alana’s story when I saw she connected with Lee on Facebook last March. It was unbelievable – he completely swept her off her feet with incredibly lavish gifts! I’m talking a Louis Vuitton handbag, gorgeous Cartier jewellery, and he sent her thousands of pounds. It all seemed so over the top, even from the beginning.
Right after Alana announced their engagement with a photo online, she received messages from his ex-wife, Cezara, who is Russian, and two other former partners, all accusing him of being dishonest.
Even though they cautioned her, Alana, now calling him a ‘liar and cheat’, believed their relationships simply fizzled out because she hadn’t experienced someone expressing their love for her so intensely before.
Daily Mail contacted Lee and representatives of Katie for comment at the time.
Before marrying Dina Taji, a health and fitness coach, for several years, Lee had proposed to Alana and Katie – making them his ninth and tenth fiancées.
When Katie showed off her large diamond ring, people noticed it looked very similar to one her partner had previously given his ex-wife, Dina.
Lee’s former girlfriend, Crystal Janke, alleges he tricked her into giving him £123,000 to invest in his business, claiming she would earn a £1 million profit.
The Sun reports the police are aware of the alleged fraud.
A nurse practitioner from Texas says she was tricked in a relationship with a man named Lee, who she began dating last May. She believes he used her money to buy expensive gifts for another woman, Alana, whom he was also seeing at the time.
Crystal left a supportive comment on Alana’s post, saying, ‘Keep smiling and enjoying life – you’ve earned it!’ Alana responded with a cryptic message, hinting at a deeper situation and mentioning ‘karma’.
I wish I could be there with you right now and give you a hug. Thank you so much for being there to listen when I needed it. It means a lot to me that we women support each other, and I’m really glad we connected.
I’m truly sorry we’re going through this, but I’m confident we’ll overcome it and emerge even stronger as a result.
Alana shared on Instagram that a man made her feel small and silenced, discouraging her from talking to friends about his behavior. She explained that her friends had already advised her to end the relationship, and he actively damaged her friendships by isolating her and manipulating situations to appear as if he was being protected.
He made so many empty promises, and because I supported him, it made me look just as bad. Now that I can finally say what I think, I really hope Katie is listening. I wish I’d listened to the people who warned me about him. Ladies, if you ever find yourself in a similar situation, get out and don’t look back!
Crystal thinks Lee was going to propose to her in a similar way just two weeks before Alana got engaged, as they had recently been ring shopping together.
However, her sister grew suspicious of Lee and hired a private investigator. The investigator discovered that Lee was also dating Alana.
Crystal recounted that her PA encountered Dina, his former partner, who warned her to be cautious. Dina claimed he frequently deceives people and isn’t trustworthy, telling Crystal to distance herself from him.
Crystal immediately ended the relationship, alerted her bank, and reported Lee to the police. She admitted she didn’t expect to recover the lost money, and later wondered how she’d been tricked, acknowledging that he had been very persuasive.
Lee confirmed to the Daily Mail that he and Alana were in a relationship. He said he supported her financially and invested in her business, but strongly denies her recent accusations against him.
He acknowledged having a heart condition, but emphasized he’s never used it to manipulate situations or falsely claim illness. He explained it came up in conversation naturally while he was with his partner.
He stated he’s never actually met Crystal, though they’ve had some conversations and exchanged a few texts. He firmly denied any claim that she invested in him or sent him money, saying he completely dismisses those suggestions.
According to The Sun, texts from Lee to Crystal reveal he was seeing a well-known British celebrity and offered to meet her in London to give her money he owed.
Katie recently married Lee after a very quick romance – lasting only about a week – and her family apparently didn’t know it was happening.
I was so shocked to hear that Katie’s family hasn’t spoken to her since her wedding! Apparently, they haven’t reached out at all since she got married, which is just heartbreaking to me as a long-time supporter of hers.
People are saying Katie’s family is worried about how quickly her relationship is moving and they plan to have a serious conversation with her about getting married.
Reports suggest Lee’s attractive online profile first caught her eye only a few days before their quick wedding.
Okay, so here’s the latest on Katie and Lee’s relationship – it’s a bit complicated right now. They’re doing long distance; Katie’s back in England, and Lee is still in Dubai. But, and this is a big gesture, they’ve both gotten each other’s names tattooed on their hands! It’s a sweet, if slightly dramatic, way of showing their commitment even while being apart. As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen a lot of couples try to bridge the distance, and this is definitely a bold statement!
Hi everyone! Just giving you a quick update on married life. There’s been some questions about my tattoos and wedding ring – just to clarify, the ring is on the right hand, and all my tattoos are also on the right hands.
Sending lots of love to everyone, and especially a huge amount of love to Katie! We recently had a beautiful wedding, and it’s official – we’re married! I couldn’t be happier. I’ll be in touch soon.
You know, I’ve been thinking about how much unnecessary clutter comes my way, and honestly, a little kindness goes a long way. I’m hoping that sending out some positive vibes will filter out a huge chunk of the negativity and just leave room for good things. It’s a simple thing, but I really believe it can make a difference – sending love to all of you!
He shared another video of his tattoo, explaining, ‘Here it is, so you can see it. It’s located higher on my hand than Katie’s, and we’re planning on getting more.’
To address criticism, he posted a video specifically responding to those who pointed out his ring was on the wrong hand.
He began by addressing the audience, saying, ‘Everyone, please. Let me quickly explain something. I’m not a professional with cameras, but this is my hand…’
Since you’re viewing this on a device with a camera – like an iPhone or Android – try this: if you hold up your left hand and face the camera towards yourself, it will appear as your right hand on the screen. This is because of how the camera captures the image.
Just so you know, both my wife and I are wearing our rings on the correct finger – the left hand. She’s also wearing her lovely engagement ring and wedding band. And for the record, our tattoos are on our right hands. I love you so much!
