Despite facing financial difficulties and recently being declared bankrupt this year, 46-year-old Katie Price jetted off to Dubai with her new boyfriend for a luxurious vacation on Wednesday.
The holiday got off to an exciting start when Katie announced her engagement – for the ninth time! She shared a peek of her new partner and a photo of her impressive diamond ring on Friday.
The announcement surprised everyone, not just her Instagram followers, but also her family, who apparently learned about the engagement through social media.
The news was a complete surprise, and family members are concerned that things are progressing quickly, especially since they haven’t had a chance to meet Lee yet.
A source told The Sun: ‘The family found out about the engagement on Instagram – they were stunned.
Katie’s family is very concerned because everything is moving so quickly. They were already disappointed by her breakup with JJ, and now they haven’t even had a chance to meet her new fiancé before she got engaged.

According to sources at the Daily Mail, her ex-partner, JJ, 32, was completely surprised by the engagement news. He’s currently in Miami with his family, reportedly recovering from their breakup.

JJ and Katie started dating in February 2024, shortly after JJ gained popularity on the E4 show Married at First Sight UK. They even discussed the possibility of having a baby – Katie’s sixth child – but ultimately decided to go their separate ways.
Someone close to Katie previously shared with Daily Mail that she’s had reservations about whether JJ would make a good husband for a while, but she was hoping those feelings would pass.
Her worries have only increased, and she now realizes she won’t be getting married for a fourth time in this relationship.
‘JJ was left disappointed and has already packed his bags and moved back to his home in Essex.
‘He genuinely saw a future with Katie, but it seems she ultimately had a very different outlook.’
