Katie Price throws herself into house move while unloading boxes into her new home – as she leaves ‘cursed’ Mucky Mansion in the past

 Katie Price has taken a huge step in her tumultuous life. 

47-year-old icon of glamour modeling has left behind her once-famed but now notorious ‘Mucky Mansion‘, and she was spotted relocating to her new dwelling – a renovated, three-bedroom barn that she rents – on Tuesday.

The star displayed the outcome of her latest surgical session, which included a ‘fox eye’ makeover, as she transferred her possessions to her residence following her relocation away from the dilapidated Sussex mansion she became renowned for.

Katie’s impressive, nine-bedroom mansion gained fame, reaching the point of being featured on a reality TV show, and was sold in December for £1.5 million. There’s much to celebrate for Katie, as her 2017 song “I Got U” unexpectedly took the top spot on the charts.

In her new living space, which costs £4.5k per month, Katie was spotted conversing warmly with delivery workers and even carrying a miniature mannequin around.

Katie displayed her augmented chest in a white crop top, paired with a casual black hoodie and relaxed fit jeans for added comfort.

During the phone conversation, she was also actively participating in the major relocation, causing her to laugh heartily with the movers.

Following a conversation with her daughter, Princess, about residing in what she deemed as her “Mucky Mansion”, Katie decides to make a significant change. The princess described this residence as a genuinely frightening location.

The 18-year-old child of celeb Pete Andre shared thoughts with The Guardian, coinciding with the debut of her ITV2 reality series titled The Princess Diaries.

At the much-discussed residence of Katie in Sussex, known for its rundown condition and repossessions, Princess openly acknowledged experiencing difficult times within the dwelling: “The place was truly terrifying. Many incidents took place there. Consequently, I didn’t particularly enjoy my time there.

Although Princess didn’t disclose her personal encounters, it’s well-known that Katie claims the house is haunted and has personally experienced disturbances in her residence.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but share Katie’s chilling tale. You see, she’s openly spoken about her unease that her beloved home harbors a ghostly presence – a small, spectral child. To make matters even more spine-tingling, several of her cherished pets have mysteriously passed away within its walls. The place has an eerie aura that sends shivers down my spine just thinking about it!

The family departed from their £2 million residence back in May, citing an incident where someone allegedly splashed corrosive acid onto their vehicle when it was parked on the premises, causing damage.

Before Katie moved away from her previous residence in May, it was reported that she had been eagerly anticipating this day for quite some time. Now that the day has come, she’s excited to finally depart.

The house has brought her immense sorrow, and managing it alone proved overwhelming given her job and family responsibilities. In more recent times, it all seemed unmanageable. Furthermore, she firmly believes that the house is haunted.

In March 2024, the ex-fashion model found herself filing for bankruptcy again due to an outstanding tax debt amounting to approximately £761,994.05 that remained unpaid.

Regarding the property in West Sussex, she expressed her strong dislike for what is commonly known as the “Mucky Mansion”. She finds this name unfortunate due to the past events associated with it.

I’m eagerly counting down the days until we leave that house – it’s been nine long years filled with unpleasant recollections. I can’t stand the thought of the Mucky Mansion; I swear, I won’t look back when we’re gone! My anticipation for my new home is through the roof, and I am beyond thrilled about this fresh start, a complete reset in my life.
