Katie Price shares video to try to ‘debunk’ claims about her ‘conman’ husband Lee Andrews, from THAT Cambridge PhD and business history to reports he spent time in prison

Katie Price has tried to disprove accusations against her husband, Lee Andrews, who has been accused of being a ‘scammer’.

The 47-year-old former model quickly married the 42-year-old businessman just weeks after they met. They then had a second, official wedding ceremony, which worried many of their fans and family, as there were reports that the businessman was involved in scams.

Lee, a British citizen, reportedly spent three weeks in a Dubai jail accused of fraudulently obtaining a £200,000 loan using his former girlfriend’s signature. He is also said to be prevented from leaving the United Arab Emirates, but he strongly denies the allegations.

Lee claims to be a millionaire and says he both attended Cambridge University and earned a PhD.

Katie responded to Lee’s statements in a YouTube video, sharing a statement he previously gave to her.

In the video, she initially stated that Lee held a degree from Cambridge, but then corrected herself, saying he actually earned a PhD from Spain. She explained that the initial reports about his qualifications were based on rumors.

Katie shared a statement from Lee, claiming he had earned an associate degree in engineering through a distance learning program at Cambridge, and that he had previously mentioned this.

I mistakenly said the PhD was from Cambridge. Actually, I saw some work from Cambridge – like a thesis – but the doctoral degree itself is from Spain.

He didn’t actually get his PhD from Cambridge, but he did complete the research for it there. It was some kind of academic project, I’m not entirely sure of the details. I can check what he says it was if you’d like.

Just to be clear, Lee has an engineering associate’s degree that he earned online from Cambridge, and the diploma has been officially certified and verified.

‘He’s never claimed to have a PHD from Cambridge, this was hearsay from others.

He currently holds an honorary doctorate and has completed and published a written thesis, which he will soon make available for public reading. This also grants him the legal right to use the title ‘Doctor’ on official documents, such as his passport.

His business is officially registered in the British Virgin Islands. You can verify its registration status on the public BVI company registry. He is both the director and owner of the company.

He’s met and connected with many public figures he’s featured on his social media, and I’m one of them.

He hasn’t defrauded anyone, and he hasn’t been investigated, arrested, or even suspected of wrongdoing. These claims are simply rumors started by an ex-partner as part of a continuing effort to damage his reputation.

That’s simply not true. Lee is a very capable person, achieving and participating in things far beyond what most people imagine.

Katie spoke up about her relationship, explaining that she loves Lee for who he is, not what he does or how much money he has. She emphasized that their connection, how they get along, and how he treats her are the only things that matter to her.

‘I’m very happy and I want everyone else to be happy for me.’

People are questioning Katie’s relationship with Lee because of concerns about the validity of his professional accomplishments.

I’m hearing more troubling news about a situation unfolding overseas. It seems this individual is now facing potential legal challenges in Dubai, and there are reports suggesting he may not even be allowed to leave the country, especially given the current conflict. It’s a really difficult time, and this adds another layer of complexity to an already sensitive situation.

News reports indicate that Herefordshire Police received accusations against him, and those accusations have now been passed on to authorities in Dubai.

According to a source, police have passed the investigation files to authorities in Dubai because Lee lives there and the alleged incidents occurred in Dubai.

Daily Mail have contacted Lee Andrews’ representatives for comment.

Dina, Lee’s former partner, learned he may have been involved in fraudulent activity when the mortgage company contacted her. This led her to take legal action against him.

Dubai’s laws prevent people with ongoing criminal investigations – whether for things like unpaid debts or civil cases – from being able to leave the country.

The woman reported him to the authorities in Dubai who investigated her claim.

The current status of the investigation isn’t clear, but Lee was prohibited from leaving Dubai as long as the case remained active.

He  has also reportedly been heard begging a woman for cash in desperate voice notes.

An American businesswoman, wishing to remain anonymous, shared that she received a series of urgent voice messages from him shortly before he proposed to Katie.

Lee allegedly sent voice notes attempting to convince the woman to send him between £1100 and £2500 several times since May of last year, claiming it was for a business investment she thought was legitimate.

As the woman grew uncomfortable with sending money, Lee’s voice messages allegedly became increasingly urgent. This so-called ‘millionaire businessman’ based in Dubai had been asking her for money as recently as January.

In voice notes obtained by The Sun, Lee apparently asked for help, saying, “If you could assist me or send $3,000 via Western Union, that would be a huge help. I really just need a hug right now.”

‘You don’t know how desperate it’s been, the last couple of months of me trying to survive.’

Okay, so I’ve been following Lee for a while now, and get this – he’s claiming he was practically broke! Like, eating 20p ready meals broke! He says it’s all because money from his company, Aura Sustainable Vehicles & Energy BVI, was stuck being transferred from Kenya. Can you believe it? He calls himself a ‘millionaire,’ but apparently, he was waiting on that Kenyan payment to clear before he could actually live like one. It’s wild!

Although their relationship was supposedly just for business, Lee allegedly told the woman he would love her if she sent him money, and he also called her beautiful.

When the woman refused to send Lee money, he reportedly swore at her and called her a time waster.

The woman told the publication that Lee confided in her about being extremely poor, to the point where he could only afford to eat rice.

She ultimately decided not to send him money, but she almost did because he’s very convincing.

The woman stated that Lee mentioned in December he’d met someone he liked, and she thinks that person is Katie.

The Daily Mail has contacted Lee for comment. Lee has denied all previous claims.

She is not the first woman to make allegations against Lee.

This follows accusations from Lee’s former partner, who claims he defrauded women financially and has labeled him the ‘Tinder Swindler’.

Fans were surprised last month when the former model announced she’d married a businessman based in Dubai after a very quick, one-week romance.

Following the announcement of his wedding, Lee’s former partners came forward with accusations, questioning his financial honesty. They alleged that many of his statements about his wealth, business skills, and connections to famous people were untrue.

Lee’s ex-girlfriend, Alana Percival, 32, revealed that he proposed to her with a grand gesture that was remarkably similar to the proposal he later made to Katie just 16 weeks later.

Since Alana shared her story, four women have reached out to her, claiming Lee attempted to defraud them, according to a report in The Sun.

Alana sharply criticized Lee, calling him ’embarrassing’ and comparing his behavior to that of Simon Leviev, the subject of the Netflix documentary ‘The Tinder Swindler,’ who was a well-known romance scammer.
