As a longtime animal lover and advocate, I find myself deeply concerned about Katie Price‘s relationship with pets, given her history of acquiring and caring for numerous animals. While I understand that everyone has their own unique experiences with pets, my personal journey with my beloved furry companions has taught me the importance of providing them a stable and loving environment.

This week, Katie Price strolled out with her recent £800 Sphynx feline, Daisy, in a vibrant pink stroller – following an offer of £5,000 from animal welfare organization PETA to discontinue purchasing pets.

Previously known for her modeling career, now aged 46, was spotted in London wearing a black cropped top, following an announcement to her followers that her recent weight loss is due to a new exercise regimen at the gym.

This week, Katie’s followers expressed their worries about her sudden weight loss in an Instagram video that sparked concern.

According to what a representative shared with TopMob, Katie has been small-framed all along, but recently, she’s been frequenting the gym more and establishing an exercise regimen. This has been advantageous for her general health and wellness.

As she stepped out with Daisy, a new addition from last month (a bigger Sphynx cat), accompanied by her pair of tiny Chihuahuas, the model projected an athletic, stylish demeanor.

In a bright Barbie pink zip-up and a matching black gym outfit, Katie confidently walked along the street, attracting attention as her pets peeked out from the stroller.

At a certain moment, Katie removed the bald cat from inside and bestowed it with a barrage of affectionate smooches before resuming her stroll.

The television personality debuted Daisy on Instagram last month after sharing her last cat, a Sphynx she called Frog, had to be put down.

In my account, I pen down the heartrending tale of Frog’s departure. I express: ‘Stricken with a neurological disorder, there was no remedy within reach. The malady swiftly overtook him, leaving him incapable of even performing basic functions, like going to the restroom independently.’

‘So I cuddled him in my arms and he had to be put to sleep. He was only five months old.’

Over the last six years, Katie has experienced numerous misfortunes related to pets, such as losing five dogs, a horse, and sadly, her pet chameleon named Marvin.

Once more, PETA voiced their worries about Katie’s acquisition of Daisy, issuing a harsh statement criticizing her for viewing animals as ‘playthings to be tossed aside.’

Ingrid Newkirk, founder of PETA, expressed to TopMob that if there was a legal means to halt this repeat offender who harms animals, PETA would take action. This woman disregards the lives she is destroying and refuses to heed important guidance. Instead, she continues to treat living creatures as though they are disposable toys.

As a devoted follower, I find it troubling to imagine if William Hill were to offer bets with no regard for taste or decency. The odds would likely lean towards those wagering on how brief this little kitten’s life might be, given Price’s dismal history of animal fatalities. It’s hard to call such a situation ‘care’.

I find it deeply troubling when influencers like Price continue to exploit animals by accepting them as promotional items from selfish breeders. It’s high time we prioritize the well-being of these creatures over fleeting trends and profit-driven motives.

The financial proposal from PETA, amounting to £5,000, remains on the table if she decides not to obtain any more animals in the future. We strongly encourage her to accept this offer.

In February, after media reports indicated that Katie had relinquished her dog Tank due to losing interest, PETA penned an open letter to the celebrity following sightings of her with her pet cat Frog.

They offered Katie £5,000 if she signed a contract to not acquire another animal.

In a letter shared by The Sun, PETA Vice President Elisa Allen expressed her concern about the increasing number of animals who have either perished or been relinquished under your care. Given this trend, it’s understandable that people are expressing their worries.

Katie didn’t get her first Sphynx cat with the current one; she had already owned cats named Dobby and Hagrid, which she chose based on the characters from Harry Potter, before this one.

In December 2017, the star put up the cats for sale at £1,300 each because her dogs didn’t get along with them. However, she continued to post pictures of the cats on Instagram until 2021, leaving it uncertain if they were actually sold.

The primary animal welfare organization has repeatedly urged Katie to avoid taking on additional pets following the tragic death of her guard dog, Blade, who was struck by a vehicle in June of the previous year.

As an ardent supporter, I can’t help but express my deep concern over the actions taken towards animals, as articulated in your letter. Regardless of the rationales put forth for their distress, abandonment, or end, it’s undeniable that the actions inflict harm upon these sensitive, intelligent beings. I trust we can both concur that this predicament calls for a more compassionate solution.

‘Things have gone horribly wrong with many of the animals under her supervision’.

In reply to the open letter, a representative for Katie stated to TopMob: ‘Katie has repeatedly requested a private discussion with PETA, yet they persist in publicizing their narrative through the media.’

‘If they want to have a direct conversation with Kate they can get in touch.

Isn’t it more appropriate for their charitable resources to support animals rather than celebrities? Or are there sufficient funds for celebrity donations, when animals might need that aid instead?
